Utilizing the approach of social entrepreneurship, Newark Science and Sustainability, Inc. (Newark SAS) is a community-driven, 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Newark, NJ that implements various initiatives to increase awareness of environmental, ecological and wellness issues through educational programs and hands-on activities. Newark SAS assists with the creation of self-sustaining and environmentally friendly communities by developing pathways for green jobs, increased self-sufficiency, and broader community empowerment. We achieve through collaborations and partnerships with residents, community-based organizations and and other key stakeholders, including local businesses. Sea Turtle Recovery (STR) is dedicated to the rehabilitation, preservation and conservation of sea turtles. STR’s goal is to rehabilitate sick or injured sea turtles for their release back to the wild. Sea Turtle Recovery also educates the public on the important ecological role of sea turtles, threats endangering them, and ways to protect their future.

CyberSecurity Non-Profit (CSNP) is dedicated to making security knowledge and training accessible to everyone. We are committed to cultivating a supportive and inclusive cybersecurity community, particularly for underrepresented groups, and to facilitating career development for all security professionals. To accomplish these goals, we host free monthly events featuring presentations, networking, hackathons, discussion panels, and technical workshops where attendees earn CPE credits towards certifications.

The mission of HHPF is to conducts and disseminates research on using breathing practices to provide scalable, science-backed solutions for improving health and optimizing human performance. We empower individuals to take agency over their own well-being through the scientific understanding of mind-body practices. Our work is helping to reduce adolescent stress and anxiety and improve women’s health, first responder and athlete performance, and chronic condition symptom management. The mission of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) is to provide software for the public good. We do this by providing services and support for many software project communities consisting of individuals who choose to participate in ASF activities.

The Climate Science Legal Defense Fund (CSLDF) protects the scientific endeavor by putting its legal expertise to work for scientists who are threatened or silenced due to their findings or fields of study. Our work preserves and expands scientists’ rights and strengthens the legal protections that promote scientific integrity.We do this by:- Offering free legal aid to scientists- Educating researchers about their rights and responsibilities- Sharing strategies and information about cases with attorneys- Publicizing attacks on science
