CONDUCT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH OF ANCIENT SOCIETIES IN THE PETEN JUNGLE OF NORTHERN GUATEMALA. THE FOUNDATION EXCAVATES, STUDIES, PRESERVES, AND CONSOLIDATES ANCIENT STRUCTURES. THE FOUNDATION WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE GUATEMALAN GOVERNMENT TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE AREA.

To advance the understanding, enjoyment and conservation of coral reefs through an integrated progam of excellence in data gathering and sharing, education and outreach built upon active and long term partnerships with divers conservationists, the scientific community and developing island governments.   All WFCRC activities must satisfy three major criteria:   1.) Be based on strong rationale 2.) Demonstrate merit as determined by experts in the field 3.) Produce applicable solutions that are clearly useful in industry, conservation and management.

Through its materials, resources, and programs, the ASP promotes public science interest, engagement, and literacy through the awe and wonder of astronomy and related fields.

The AWD Conservancy's objectives the following: * Establish and support long-term conservation programs involving local communities in research and education * Develop and implement a collaborative multidisciplinary program integrating applied field and captive conservation research * Facilitate development programs aimed at improving the lives of local people by building partnerships with community-based organizations and NGOs

The Mission Create living-wage jobs, while establishing Haitian owned and operated small businesses, through the production of affordable charcoal using environmentally sustainable biomass and a financially sustainable business model and to work with other NGO's and organization to serve Haiti's poorest families. Promoting Sustainable Business through Marine Conservation. To do so, we will Activate and Empower the Recreational Fishing Community and Represent it and its Voice at the Federal, Regional, and State levels. We will speak up in an organized and cohesive manner across all fronts. We are going to let managers and politicians know that we are here and that we count. We are going to tell them that conservation is important not only to us but to our clients and to most of the angling community.
