BOUNDARY TRAILS HEALTH CENTRE FOUNDATION INC.

The Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation is a group of volunteers and workers dedicated to the ongoing fundraising efforts to aid in health care in Southern Manitoba. It is our desire to see that the BTHC continue to develop and excel in health care in order that Southern Manitoba receives the best possible care. Each and every contribution plays an important role in the continuum of our community’s health care and as such is greatly appreciated.

HARBOUR LIGHTS CAMPAIGN Inc.

The Harbour Lights Tree Campaign - Saint John New Brunswick Each two dollar donation lights a bulb. And as December progresses bulb by bulb the tree is lit. When the financial goal is met, the star on top is lit up, too! Our offices are located at Brunswick Square, Suite 500A in the Atrium building. In person donations are being accepted at the Harbour Lights booth 2nd level of Brunswick Square.

TYD fulfills a deep need for the AT-Risk Family, and creates a definite solution by offering our ACADEMIC AND SPORTS ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS.The ASE Programs promotes and emphasizes academic, athletic, recreational, cultural, social, and moral growth of our Youth. TYD strives to enable these young Boy’s and Girl’s to become self-confident people of strong character, with a positive vision of the future and the necessary skills to achieve their hidden talents.

We provide: - Pregnancy tests - Educational information regarding pregnancy, abortion procedures and risks and alternatives to abortion - Post-abortion support and counselling - Practical support services (baby layettes, maternity and baby clothes) - Advocacy/referrals to community services (parenting courses, prenatal classes, single parent support networks, pastoral care, family physicians, and other government or community resources) - Adoption information and support - New mom visits and gifts - Presentations and resources on sexuality, sexually transmitted infections, and abstinence - Spiritual guidance - AND lots of love and acceptance!

The Shoebox Project For Shelters

The Shoebox Project collects and delivers gifts in-kind to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Gifts are valued at $50 and contain a mixture of basic necessities and little luxuries. A gift from The Shoebox Project helps to reduce social isolation and is an important reminder for a woman living in poverty that despite her circumstances, she remains a valued member of her community. We are currently active in 9 cities across the USA (including New York, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh) and in 35 Canadian cities.

We are a South African registered charity dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health. We are committed to using sport as a tool to develop the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth. We do this by; 1. Using direct sports coaching - for its health benefits, improved emotional well being and increased life skills (teamwork, leadership, decision making, communication). 2. Using sport to discuss critical issues - by delivering curriculums on topics such as HIV / AIDS awareness in a fun and interactive manner on the sports field. 3.
