Graduate Women International (GWI), founded in 1919 as the International Federation of University (IFUW), is a worldwide, non-governmental organisation of women graduates. GWI advocates for women's rights, equality and empowerment through access to quality secondary and tertiary education and training up to the highest levels. GWI's mission is to: Promote lifelong education for women and girls; Promote international cooperation, friendship, peace and respect for human rights for all, irrespective of their age, race, nationality, religion, political opinion, gender and sexual orientation or other status; Advocate for the advancement of the status of women and girls; and Encourage and enable women and girls to apply their knowledge and skills in leadership and decision-making in all forms of public and private life.

Help Refugees is the leading UK NGO in a new movement of humanitarian aid, funding over 80 projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. They have reached over 600,000 refugees, and mobilised over 20,000 volunteers since summer 2015. Acting where governmental and other non-governmental bodies are unable to, they fill the huge and terrifying gaps in services for those displaced by war in Europe and beyond. Terre des Hommes Netherlands (TDH NL) prevents child exploitation by removing children from exploitative situations and ensuring they can develop themselves in a safe environment.

To empower vulnerable populations in Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings, by supporting and educating children and enhancing youth's potential. We commit to investing in their skills and capacities to lead the community's development process effectively, while responding to emergency and long-term needs.

MISSION, VISION VALUES Co-founded in 2012, FoodBlessed is a pioneering hunger-relief AND food-rescue youth-led non-profit organization that seeks to provide an effective and efficient solution to hunger, while addressing the serious and growing problem of food waste in Lebanon, one meal at a time. FoodBlessed is the only community-based and volunteer-driven organization in Lebanon and the region that works with the civil society and strategic partners to reduce the number of people going hungry in Lebanon, while making sure no good food goes to waste. FoodBlessed is a non-religious and non-partisan humanitarian organization. MISSION - To unite and nourish communities across Lebanon through the power of food, social responsibility and volunteerism. VISION - Create a community which works towards making sure that the food insecure, hungry and homeless don't end up sleeping on an empty belly or feeling ostracized; that good food, which is usually wasted, doesn't end up in bins but rather in bellies; and that community members are given the opportunity to better serve their communities. VALUES - FoodBlessed firmly believes that food is a vital tool to supporting local communities, bringing people together and connecting us as human beings. That is why in addition to feeding empty bellies, they also use food to build communities, tackle loneliness and provide spaces for people from different backgrounds and walks of life to meet, share, and to make friends. We're innovative with what already exists and always look to tread gently on our planet. -We have adopted a zero-tolerance approach against any type of discrimination or harassment that is based not just on gender identity and sexual orientation but also on age, religion, colour, ethnicity, nationality etcetera. At FoodBlessed, when we talk about gender, sex characteristics or sexuality, we're not talking about preferences or choices. We're just talking about how people are. -We do it with love. Whether it is a meal cooked and served or a food parcel packed and delivered, it is always done with love. FoodBlessed's number one rule is "what is done with love is done well, so do it with love". Rebirth Beirut's mission is to revive our beloved city Beirut and to bring hope back to its people, who were the most affected by the blast and recent economic crisis, aiming for economic renewal and recovery in Beirut. Beirut is thebeating heartof the country and when life is brought back to Beirut this will have an effect on thecountry-wide revival.

Humans in the Loop is a hybrid between a non-profit foundation and a for-profit social enterprise which has been working for the past 6 years towards the inclusion of refugees and conflict-affected people in the AI supply chain, as well as in the digital work field, through upskilling and paid remote work opportunities. Our shared mission is to provide a diverse group of conflict-affected and displaced people with access to career development support, upskilling, and remote work opportunities to train and monitor AI systems. We are active across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, and our work related opportunities are primarily focused on communities affected by armed conflict and are distributed with priority to countries where other remote online job opportunities are unavailable as for example Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon. In our additional partner countries Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova, and the DRC, with upcoming pilots in Kenya and Uganda, we concentrate on upskilling opportunities, equipping people with freelance related skills and then further supporting them in applying for remote work on platforms such as UpWork through our Mictrofreelancing self-paced course. Our foundation has its own training platform where we conduct trainings in English, Digital Skills, as well as data annotation skills and remote work, and everything is available online. We have developed our own proprietary modules on topics such as bias in AI and ethical AI, Cybersecurity when working online, and data annotation techniques, as well as professional courses which are either instructor-led or self-paced on topics such as Digital Marketing, Intro to Programming, Intro to Graphic Design, or Intro to Business Analytics. To date, more than 500 individuals have completed courses on our platform. Now, we want to develop our course offerings further by developing new courses on generative AI skills and real-time monitoring of AI systems, performing red team testing on AI systems, and providing feedback for reinforcement learning. Many of our trainees are already working for our social enterprise as data annotators, working on projects related to image labelling, data collection, and real-time monitoring and edge case handling of AI systems. To date, we have provided paid remote employment to more than 1,100 people. Our goal is to ensure that they progress further in their careers in the AI field and to provide them with opportunities to access further employment on freelancing platforms, or with other employers. We have partnered before with Upwork's "Opportunity Unlimited" program in order to introduce them to online freelancing, and we also have a small-scale career counselling program. Now, our goal is to expand these career development programs in order to help our graduates join the workforce of the future and contribute to making AI systems more inclusive and mitigate harmful biases.
