Ronald McDonald House Charities Baltimore provides a “home-away-from-home” for seriously ill children and their families.

The Foundation seeks sustainable solutions to longterm problems of poverty, with special emphasis on the needs of rural communities in mountainous and other resourcepoor areas. Priority is given to integrated approaches that are communitybased, participatory and innovative, and reinforce civil society and respect local culture. The geographic focus of the Foundation’s work is in East Africa and South and Central Asia.

From crises to long term challenges, we tackle the causes and consequences of hunger. We save lives by preventing, detecting, and treating undernutrition. We enable people to provide for themselves, see their children grow up strong, and for whole communities to prosper. We constantly search for more effective solutions, while sharing our knowledge and expertise with the world.

To provide Night Night Packages, free of charge, to homeless children from birth to pre-teen who need our childhood and educational essentials to feel secure, cozy, ready to learn, and significant.  Each Night Night Package contains a new security blanket, an age-appropriate children's book, and a stuffed animal -- all nestled inside a canvas tote bag.

Believe In Tomorrow National Children's Foundation is a twenty-five year-old, non-profit organization with a mission to provide unique programs that bring comfort,joy and hope to critically ill children and their families. We believe in keeping families together during a child's medical crisis, and that the gentle cadence of normal family life has a powerful influence on the healing process. Believe In Tomorrow has provided more than a quarter of a million overnight accommodations to children from every state in the United States. Our programs include Children's Hospital and Retreat Housing and Hands On Adventures that provide ongoing support to children and families from the child's diagnosis to the end of the treatment process.

Gather serves those in our community experiencing hunger. We provide nutritious food through innovative distribution programs and our Pantry Market. We offer nutrition education and recipes for healthy living. In addition, we collaborate with community partners to address the root causes of hunger.

Since September 11, 2001, 2.5 million troops have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Now, they’re coming home. Yet even after they return to the love and support of their families and communities, many will struggle. Physical and hidden injuries are challenging on their own. But sometimes, these injuries can lead to a cascade of other trouble — unemployment, depression, substance abuse, even suicide. Our mission is to ensure injured veterans and their families are thriving long after they return home. That’s why we find and fund innovative programs in communities where veterans, their families and caregivers live and work. That’s how we tackle the problems that can prevent our veterans from fulfilling their dreams for the next chapter of their lives.

Our origin was an emergency response to Russia's unjustified aggression against Ukraine, sparking our commitment to deliver critical aid on the ground. In resolute solidarity with Israel, our mission is clear: to provide essential humanitarian aid and tactical support exactly where it's needed most. The Ruth Ellis Center (REC), incorporated in 1999, is a youth social services agency with a mission “to provide short-term and long-term residential safe space and support services for runaway, homeless, and at-risk lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.” As LGBTQ youth continue to be disproportionately affected by homelessness, the Ruth Ellis Center remains dedicated to ensuring that these vulnerable youth and young adults receive the services and inherent protections available to all citizens. While the Center emphasizes serving LGBTQ youth who are often ostracized, shamed, and denied services by other agencies, no youth, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation is turned away or denied services

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis family of clubs has over 600,000 adult and youth members in over 80 countries who participate in regular meetings, service projects, and fundraising.
