Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) is the leading organization in the world fighting ovarian cancer from all fronts, including in the lab and on Capitol Hill, while supporting women and their families.

The Rotary Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation funded solely by voluntary contributions from members and friends of Rotary who support its mission to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace. Using Rotary Foundation grants, Rotary’s 34,000 clubs across the globe develop and carry out sustainable humanitarian projects and provide scholarships and professional training opportunities that promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sustain mothers and children, improve education, and strengthen local economies. The Foundation is a worldwide leader in the effort to eradicate polio through its partnership with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. When Rotary launched its PolioPlus program in 1985, more than 350,000 people were afflicted with polio each year, and the disease was endemic in more than 125 countries. Since 1988, Rotary and its partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative have immunized over 2.5 billion children, reducing the incidence of polio by 99 percent and eradicating it from all but three countries. Rotary has contributed more than US$1 billion and many thousands of hours to the eradication effort. The Foundation also funds the training of hundreds of peacemakers through the Rotary Peace Centers program, which enables fellows to pursue a master’s degree or professional certificate at one of Rotary’s partner universities. Through academic training, study, and practice, the fellows become leaders who promote peace and aid conflict resolution in their communities and around the world.

Leading the fight to end hunger, in partnership with our community and in service of our neighbors in need. Each month, 1 in 4 residents turn to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano for emergency and supplemental food. Many of our neighbors are unable to make ends meet and the Food Bank helps them cover one of life’s basic needs — nutritious food. We strive to serve all people experiencing hunger or food insecurity in Solano and Contra Costa counties and commit to never turn anyone away.

At Bates Mission, we empower young adults aging out of foster care in Texas by providing essential household necessities, comprehensive life skills training, and meaningful job opportunities. Through programs like Sheila’s Supply Closet, Culinary Life Skills Training, and Gifts and Celebrations, along with our business ventures—Bates Pantry, Bates Thrift, and Bates Creative—we address both immediate needs and long-term growth. Supported by our dedicated community and staff, we create a supportive and inclusive environment where every young adult feels accepted, valued, and equipped to build a stable, independent future. Through Wikipedia and its sister projects, the mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower people around the world to collect and develop knowledge under a free license, and to disseminate it effectively and globally. In collaboration with a network of chapters, the Foundation provides the essential infrastructure and an organizational framework for the support and development of projects and endeavors which serve this mission.

Gilda's Club Madison creates a community of free emotional support, cancer education, and hope for children and adults with any cancer diagnosis and those who care for them.

Razom's mission is to foster Ukrainian democracy and civil society through a global network of experts and organizations supporting democracy activists and human rights advocates throughout Ukraine. Razom serves primary Ukraine and United States of America. We focus our efforts on three activities: 1) Amplifying voices from Ukraine in conversations in the US 2) Building a bridge of trust between citizens in Ukraine and local government bodies 3) Being a catalyst for organizations and individuals to do more to build a successful Ukraine

Dementia Society raises awareness and education across the United States and Canada for the syndrome known as Dementia (including Alzheimer's disease, Vascular Dementia, Lewy body, FTD, and other causes). We connect families to local resources; create meaningful therapeutic moments for those living with Dementia and their caregivers through non-medical programs that include music, movement, and the arts. We recognize and invest in outstanding Dementia care, innovation, and research.

AFAC is an independent, community-based non-profit food pantry that provides dignified access to nutritious supplemental groceries to all our Arlington neighbors in need. In doing so, AFAC makes it possible for vulnerable families in our community to devote their limited resources to financial obligations such as housing, utilities, and other basic needs.
