Oceana, the world's largest international organization focused exclusively on ocean conservation, was founded in 2001 by a group of leading foundations concerned that although the oceans constitute over 70 percent of the earth's surface, an extremely small percentage of environmental funding was dedicated to protecting them.  Oceana's campaigns are designed to change that by forcing clear, identifiable policy changes with real "in the water" results, usually in three to five years. Our international campaigns in North America, Europe, Chile, and Belize are focused on the actions agreed on by scientists throughout the world as necessary to preserve and restore marine life: Protect seafloor habitat from destructive bottom trawling; Set and enforce reasonable catch limits for commercial fishing; Stop subsidizing overcapacity in commercial fishing fleets; Stop marine pollution, particularly carbon dioxide emissions that are making the oceans more acidic; Oceana sets annual goals toward achieving specific changes and holds itself strictly accountable to its Board, funders, and supporters.  Since inception, Oceana has achieved dramatic success in protecting the world's oceans in targeted, practical ways.

Our mission is to educate and empower youth and young adults in the bicycle mechanic and specialty coffee service industries. Our vision is to see kids develop agency and flourish within positive relationships, healthy lifestyles, and skill development. Our goal is to combine industry leading programs and community networks to foster the next generation of riders, young professionals, and community leaders. By creating strategic partnerships and dynamic solutions barriers in the bike world and Native Reservation can be overcome. Since 2018 Silver Stallion has established or helped establish 14 middle school mountain bike P.E. programs in the region with Outride "Riding 4 Focus." Along with that effort the Stallion started the Gallup and Navajo-Diné Composite NICA middle and high school mountain bike teams Since 2019, in partnership and with continued support from Durango Devo, Silver Stallion established DEVO/CLUB Rides program with Gallup McKinley County Schools now taking place at 4 middle schools on the Navajo Nation (Thoreau, Crownpoint, Tohatchi, Navajo). During the Pandemic Silver Stallion established “Big Blue” Mobile Ride Center truck providing Free Bike Repair events, Park Tool School Education and Free Bikes 4 Kidz distribution in remote communities throughout the Navajo Nation. Silver Stallion is partnered with Project Bike Tech establishing and supporting high school mechanic programs throughout the region.

Rebuilding Together is a national housing organization that envisions a safe and healthy home for every person. Together with over one hundred affiliates throughout the country, we provide critical home repairs for low-income families at no cost, including seniors, veterans, families with young children and neighbors recovering from disasters. Over the past 30 years, we have successfully: engaged 3.99 million volunteers who have completed 191,955 repairs and rehabs for homes, nonprofit facilities and community spaces, which have collectively served over 5.7 million community members totaling a $1.86 billion reinvestment in communities across the country since our inception.

Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Poor nutrition can result in a weaker immune system, increased hospitalization, lower IQ, shorter attention spans, and lower academic achievement. 69% of children in America are on free or reduced meals at their schools. Blessings in a Backpack is designed to feed these kids on the weekends by sending them home on Fridays with backpacks filled with staples that require little to no preparation. Starting at just $100, Blessings in a Backpack can feed a child for an entire school year. Since 2009, Blessings in a Backpack has provided 23.5 million hunger-free weekends for more than 838,000 children nationwide.

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: a 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. The organization also runs TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operates innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

YGB specializes in finding permanent families for young adults, teens, and pre-teens in foster care. We believe that no child should age out of the foster care system without the support and love of a family. Whether that means helping youth reconnect to their families of origin, to other people who have played a role in their lives, or to new families that will make a new commitment to be there for life. We recruit, train, certify and license parents who are willing to make an unconditional lifetime commitment. Likewise, we commit to providing ongoing support for our families for as long as they need. To honor his legacy, Discovery Inc. established the The Willie Garson Fund at You Gotta Believe to support our work of connecting every child in foster care to a loving family that commits to being there for life. The fund directly supports our Nobody Ages Out initiative, providing the services and resources needed to ensure their profound journey to becoming a family is a success.

The mission of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community.To fulfill our mission we: Source and acquire food and other products and distribute to people in need through charitable agencies or directly through programs; Energize the community to get involved and support hunger relief; Conduct hunger education and awareness campaigns and advocate for public policies that alleviate hunger.Our vision is that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County. The Food Bank, founded in 1973, provides food and other products to people seeking food assistance throughout Los Angeles County. We also energize the community to get involved and support hunger relief through volunteerism, food and fund drives, financial and in-kind support. The Food Bank also conducts hunger education and awareness campaigns and advocates for public policies that alleviate hunger. With the help of 31,000 volunteers and financial supporters, the Food Bank distributed over 60 million pounds of food in 2011 including 14 million pounds of fresh produce. We serve over 1 million individuals throughout Los Angeles County each year. The Food Bank also has nutrition education classes for local schools. Additionally, we make every effort to educate the public about the problem of hunger.
