Adopt America Network (AAN) is a private non-profit adoption exchange agency that helps place eligible children waiting in the U.S. foster care system to be adopted (an average of almost 4 years) into loving, permanent homes. Since 1983, Adopt America has found homes for over 3,300 children across the country - 698 in the last three years. Using a unique model, our national network of adoption specialists and 100+ partnering agencies cut across geographic and bureaucratic boundaries, thus increasing opportunities for children and families to find the perfect match. Being special needs adoptive parents themselves, our adoption specialists are committed to finding loving families for all children awaiting adoption in the U.S. Adopt America absorbs many of the costs of adoption and does not charge the family any fees.
Community Partners of Dallas is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services. The agency, which was founded in Dallas by a group of dedicated citizens (including First Lady Laura Bush), has since been replicated in more than 130cities in Texas.
