The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut is dedicated to improving the mental and behavioral health of children and teens through treatment, education, and community support.

Through partnership between volunteer professionals and island communities, we bring health and wholeness to Micronesia through diabetes reversal, specialty healthcare, and health education.

Provide social services to LGBT teens in the NYC area. Life skills training, meals, and social work services were offered to an average of 60 young adults a week.

After years of careful planning and preparation, the community responded and in less than two years of fund raising through private gifts and grants, $6 million was raised to bring Ronald McDonald House to Long Beach. The Long Beach House joined more than 300 other Ronald McDonald Houses in 58 countries and regions around the world.  Locally, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California operates Houses in Bakersfield, Loma Linda, Los Angeles, Orange, and Pasadena.  The chapter also operates Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, a free, medically-supervised, year-round sleep away camp for children with cancer and their siblings, as well as two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at CHOC in Orange and CHOC at Mission in Mission Viejo, which serve as an oasis for families inside of hospitals. Additionally, the chapter awards scholarship funds to exceptional high school students and community grants to non-profit organizations that benefit children. Research shows that a family's presence in the hospital helps children heal. Staying close by allows parents to better communicate with their child's medical team and improves adherence to complicated treatment plans. These are only some of the reasons that make Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California an important organization. The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is a program of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California.

Intermountain Healing Hearts began in 2007 when several families of children with congenital heart defects met at Primary Children's Medical Center and planned a summer BBQ. Recognizing the value of having support from other people going through similar experiences, these families began the process of creating a non-profit organization to benefit those touched by Congenital Heart Defects. 

Health Connected equips young people with information, skills, and support to make thoughtful choices about their relationships and sexual health.

Their mission is to create a professional collaborative atmosphere of community awareness and nurturing support for children to thrive and grow in a mentally, emotionally healthy environment. Children 4 Tomorrow’s heartfelt purpose is for all children to grow up and thrive as mentally and emotionally healthy adults. C4T also develops a community awareness of mental and emotional abuse. Their organization centers on helping underprivileged children who have endured mental and emotional abuse receive sound professional counseling and adequate advocacy on their behalf. Children 4 Tomorrow strives to achieve these fundamental purposes through providing financial support to families with children in need of professional counseling, and legal services.

Our mission is to deliver a breadth of resources to caregivers, families and patients who are confronting the final stages of life. Vision & Values Statement SCHF exists to elevate the quality of life experienced by those confronting a terminal illness. Our services support not just the patient, but family members and caregivers as well. As a result, we are continuously working with the care team to fulfill our mission, all the while, never losing sight of our vision: to open a Hospice House in Southern California that serves as a live-in facility for end-of-life care. We Believe: Every life is precious… Every life deserves to be celebrated… Each moment should be lived to its fullest… These are the fundamental values that drive the Southern California Hospice Foundation to continually reach out and serve those struggling with the complex issues surrounding end-of-life.

Florida’s Children First, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the rights of at-risk children and youth; the organization seeks full representation of children and youth and meaningful and sustainable improvement in Florida’s child-serving systems using a range of strategies including public policy development, on-going training and technical assistance, and where necessary, strategic litigation.

Our mission is to teach young people effective, peaceful ways to resolve conflict and to develop understanding, respect, and the ability to cooperate with others in a multicultural world.
