Operation USA is an international relief agency that helps communities at home and abroad overcome the effects of disasters, disease and endemic poverty by providing privately-funded relief, reconstruction and development aid. Working with grass-roots partners on the ground, Operation USA provides material and financial assistance necessary in the face of a disaster, as well as to combat the effects of systemic poverty. Dedicated to rebuilding with commitment and listening to communities’ voices to determine the best way to assist them, Operation USA stays in the field long after many others leave. Long-term projects are supported that promote education and health services, sustainable development, leadership building, income generating activities and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable people worldwide.

CDH Stars & Angels is an organization dedicated to saving kids’ lives by empowering families affected by Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and working to fund lifesaving medical technology efforts.

Mission: To provide a Christian home, family and education to the impoverished youth in our communities. Casa Estrella Foundation, was founded in 2006 hostessing over 150 orphans through out the years, from ages 3 to up 18 years old. In 2014 we opened the first Private Christian School, from pre-K to High School. We have 360 students, this school year we gave 90 scholarships to mothers with low income and struggling families that have been separated from parents. About Us: Our Bridgeport club was founded in 1992, and is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which was founded in 1921. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. A 501(c)(3) organization, Soroptimist relies on charitable contributions to fund its programs. Local members join with almost 100,000 Soroptimists in more than120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women. Soroptimist International has consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, which oversees U.N. activities promoting human rights. In addition to sponsoring the awards programs, our club has participated in community programs focused on various health and human service issues for women and girls, such as the Center for Women and Families, Mi Casa/My Home, Women and Men’s Health Project, Project Courage, and Local Soup Kitchens. Our mission is eradicate child labor by motivating children to remain in school, and we offer financial support to over 300 students and families.We have Built computer labs, dug water wells, repaired school facilities, provided essential learning supplies/resources.

MissionOperation of Hope Worldwide (formally Operacion Esperanza since 1989) is a volunteer medical team that has changed the lives of over 5,000 children around the world...and counting. Each year, we traveling to developing countries to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries, as well as, other types of facial reconstructive surgery for people in need. In addition, this group of highly specialized medical personnel, train the nurses and doctors in these countries to provide care for their patients. Our work has expanded to neonatal care, prosthetic hands and burn surgeries in Africa, Asia, South Pacific and Latin America. Our goal is to provide additional experience for physicians who are specializing in these types of surgery.
