Empowering immigrants and others to become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged. Hispanic Unity of Florida, Inc. (HUF) was founded 34 years ago, in 1982, by community leaders who recognized south Florida's growing role as a haven for immigrants and refugees. HUF is the largest 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in Broward County dedicated to serving the immigrant population by fulfilling its mission of "Empowering Immigrants and others to become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged". HUF's goal is to ease immigrants' acculturation transition by providing skills, services and tools to help them build their new lives in their adopted country. Recognizing that focusing on and providing coaching on an individual basis is more likely to achieve educational and economic success, HUF offers a one-stop, integrated and multiservice approach designed to serve entire families and meet their evolving needs as they build new lives. Annually, we serve 17,000 diverse and multicultural clients from the United States and from more than 25 other countries.

Launched by a coalition of immigrant service providers and advocates, the UndocuFund for Fire Relief in Sonoma County provides direct assistance to undocumented victims of the Northern California fires. The Fund’s mission is to support undocumented children, families, and communities affected by the fires in Sonoma County to recover and rebuild. One hundred percent of all donations will go to victim support. Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, a national nonprofit headquartered in Sebastopol, serves as the fiscal agent for the fund. GCIR and the other partners will cover the fund’s administrative costs.

The IDEAYA Inc Scholarship Fund is based on the premise that by providing opportunities for at-risk, inner city youth to become self-supporting, we enhance the growth of our community as a whole.We work to address the financial and logistic barriers that keep many at-risk youth from gaining tertiary education. IDEAYA Inc. provides vocational/technical training scholarship opportunities for inner city youth of Austin. In addition to financial assistance, we provide mentorships and guidance to help students and their families navigate through the rigors of college life.

Founded in 1981 by Ethiopian refugees to give a helping hand to other newcomers, today African Services is a multiservice agency based in Harlem and dedicated to assisting immigrants, refugees and asylees from across the African Diaspora

The Irish International Immigrant Center assists immigrants from Ireland and from around the world as they integrate into American society, and with partner organizations, promotes reconciliation in Ireland. We are a vibrant welcome center that provides legal, wellness and education services, advocates for systemic change, and facilitates cross-cultural community building. YFU advances intercultural understanding, mutual respect and social responsibility through educational exchanges for youth, families and communities.

BECA exists to promote cultural exchange and provide affordable bilingual education. In our volunteer-driven bilingual school model, Central American students learn from dedicated volunteer teachers, and those volunteers learn from the community in which they are immersed. Providing educational access and empowerment to the most financially disadvantaged members of a community is a defining characteristic of our program; it should come as no surprise that "beca" means scholarship in Spanish.
