Refugee Support Services is a post-resettlement, human services organization that supports refugees, former refugees, asylees, special immigrants, humanitarian parolees, their respective families, and the greater Charlotte community. The mission of Refugee Support Services is to facilitate programs and intercultural relationships that promote individual autonomy, cultivate social capital, and enrich our community.

Our mission is the development and empowerment of the Latinx community througheducation, art, and cultural programming for young people and adults. The International Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) provides high-quality immigration legal services, education, and civic engagement opportunities to immigrants, refugees, and their families as they join and contribute to the community.

The San Francisco-Osaka Sister City Association was founded in 1957 under the leadership of Mayor George Christopher, and it is San Francisco's oldest sister city relationship. The Association helps build bridges of friendship and commerce between these two vital centers of culture and finances. Its programs support individual and civic exchanges that foster better understanding and appreciation between citizens on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.
