The mission of Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) is to instill hope in those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless by meeting needs and helping achieve self-sufficiency. HUM offers homeless prevention & assistance services throughout Volusia and Flagler counties through HUM service centers and distributed services at 30 partner & school locations.

FOOD AND OTHER NECESSITIES ARE PURCHASED AND DONATIONS RECEIVED, THEN DISTRIBUTED MONTHLY TO APPROXIMATELY 190 FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY.

Caritas of Port Chester, Inc, doing business as Meals On Main Street, is building community through food. The goal is to work closely with volunteer and community organizations to provide healthy food choices to anyone in need. Our mobile market trucks visit neighborhoods throughout Westchester County, providing choice produce, dairy, meals and frozen food at no cost to the consumer. Our vision is build strong partnerships that work to eliminate food insecurity and provide healthy choices to all.
