The mission of Solutions for Change is to solve family homelessness - one family, one community at a time.

The Women's Housing Coalition supports families and individuals with permanent and affordable, service enriched housing. We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness for women and children. The WHC serves homeless, low-income women with disabilities and families. In addition to housing, WHC services include case management, advocacy and life skills training. Services are tailored to meet the needs of each woman or family and are based on their individual situations and goals.

Softer Streets Inc. is providing durable, water-resistant, insulated, easily portable sleeping mats to people experiencing homelessness. We aim to supply every person who regularly sleeps on the streets with a high-quality, easily cleaned mat to provide insulation, reduce bug infestations, and help prevent chronic injuries from sleeping on cold, unyielding surfaces. This harm reduction strategy fills a critical gap between the shelter and the sidewalk.

Community Housing Partnership’s mission is to help homeless people secure housing and become self-sufficient. Community Housing Partnership is an outcomes-focused nonprofit that fulfills its mission by developing and managing high quality supportive housing and providing services to homeless individuals, seniors and families to help them rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness.

Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County addresses the causes of poverty, empowering low-income people to achieve self-sufficiency through community-based collaborations and programs.

Founded in July 1992, JOIN works with homeless individuals and families who are sleeping on the street and not already engaged with another service provider. Homeless individuals working with JOIN envisioned a facility providing expanded basic services and outreach to homeless individuals within the context of a holistic response that also promotes individual dignity. This has evolved into an innovative and highly successful housing placement effort based on a "Housing First" approach.

St. Matthew's House exists to change lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined, as we provide food, housing, and recovery for people experiencing hunger, homelessness and addiction.

Waking the Village's mission is to offer 18 months of housing and support so that Sacramento County's homeless, parenting or pregnant youth and their children can get busy living rather than surviving. Through Tubman House, young parents (18 to 21 years old) experience healthy living, intensive case management, parent coaching and educational support so that they leave prepared to be leaders in their own lives, and leaders in the lives of their children and communities. In exchange for housing, child care, and wrap around support, Tubman residents lead Youth Corps, growing as leaders as they govern Tubman and spearhead projects to build up their community.
