The mission of the Project HOME community is to empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to alleviate the underlying causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. We strive to create a safe and respectful environment where we support each other in our struggles for self-esteem, recovery, and the confidence to move toward self-actualization. Project HOME achieves its mission through a continuum of services comprised of street outreach, a range of supportive housing, and comprehensive services. We address the root causes of homelessness through neighborhood-based affordable housing, economic development, and environmental enhancement programs, as well as through providing access to employment opportunities; adult and youth education; and health care. Project HOME is committed to social and political advocacy. An integral part of our work is education about the realities of homelessness and poverty and vigorous advocacy on behalf of and with homeless and low-income persons for more just and humane public policies. Project HOME is committed to nurturing a spirit of community among persons from all walks of life, all of whom have a role to play in making this a more just and compassionate society.

PERIOD. is a global youth-powered non-profit that strives to end period poverty and stigma through advocacy, education, and service. PERIOD. equips and trains youth leaders with the tools and resources needed to end period poverty in their lifetime.

CityServe International confronts the most entrenched needs of our community through the local church, local businesses and local government. Our goal is to train and resource community leaders to respond to their neighbors in need and to seek the restoration of broken lives.

Family Promise is a national nonprofit organization that helps families facing homelessness find stable housing and achieve lasting independence through a community-based response that addresses all the issues that can lead to the loss of a home.

Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter provides food, emergency shelter, and a wide range of supportive services to individuals and families throughout Greater Nashua. We work to improve and increase access to a full spectrum of basic needs through engaging in advocacy work, conducting sustainable programs, and thoughtfully collaborating with peer agencies.

MISSION: The Harbour provides emergency housing and services to youth experiencing homelessness in order to promote safety, stability, and personal growth. The Harbour’s vision is to provide opportunities that guide and empower youth to their fullest potential through safe housing, critical emergency interventions, positive mentoring, and resource services. Stable housing in tandem with educational and vocational support, life skills training, and intensive financial literacy support, coupled with the mentoring and nurturing support of caring adults are hallmarks of each program. Unlike adults, most homeless youth have never lived on their own and typically lack the skills or financial resources to begin living independently and sustain a path to independence and housing stability.

IMPACCT Brooklyn, formerly PACC, has embraced a vision in which people strive together to build an equitable, diverse, engaged and flourishing community. We pursue the following goals: Preserve and develop safe and affordable housing; Support a vibrant local commerce; sustain and develop economic, racial, and cultural diversity; Promote community action and engage residents to work for the greater good; Address several high-impact areas within the communities of Downtown and Central Brooklyn and offer comprehensive programs

Rebuilding Together Houston restores hope and revitalizes neighborhoods by repairing homes at no cost for low-income elderly homeowners. Through the work of volunteers and with the support of public- and private-sector initiatives, we enhance the quality of life for deserving seniors, strengthen the communities in which they live, and build a brighter future for Houston.
