OUR MISSION IS: THE RESCUE MISSION UTICA IS A CHRISTIAN MINISTRY UNCONDITIONALLY ENDEAVORING TO ASSESS AND MEET THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE COMING FOR ASSISTANCE.FOR OVER 130 PLUS YEARS, THE RESCUE MISSION HAS GROWN IN ITS ABILITY TO SUPPLY RESIDENCY-BASED PROGRAMS AIMED AT: BREAKING THE CYCLE OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL DEPENDENCY, HOUSING HOMELESS MEN, TEACHING LIFE SKILLS AND PROVIDING RESIDENTS WITH SUPPORTIVE AND AFTERCARE SERVICES SO THAT THEY CAN LEARN VOCATIONAL SKILLS AND OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN LONG-TERM, SUSTAINED INDEPENDENCE. THE RESCUE MISSION OF UTICA PROVIDES A WIDE ARRAY OF SERVICES AND HOUSING TO THE HOMELESS, THE MENTALLY ILL, THOSE STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTIONS SEEKING TO REESTABLISH THEMSELVES IN AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY. IT IS THE LARGEST PROVIDER OF SUCH SERVICES BETWEEN SYRACUSE AND SCHENECTADY.

Hall-Dawson CASA Program Mission Statement:Hall-Dawson Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure abused and neglected children have the right to a safe and permanent home. CASA provides trained, screened and supervised volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children requiring court intervention.

With over 60 years of experience, Franciscan Outreach operates a comprehensive system of support for individuals currently experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness. Our mission is to provide healthy meals, safe shelter, and critical services that affirm the dignity of individuals who are marginalized and homeless and empower them to gain the stability they need to transition into permanent housing. Our vision is to ensure a positive path forward for people who are marginalized and homeless, enabling them to gain stability and thrive in permanent housing. Our programs address immediate basic needs for food and shelter while providing comprehensive case management services that are crucial for housing success and overall well-being. Each day, we guide and empower our guests toward transformative change while advocating for housing, food security, health care, and employment.

Westminster Rescue Mission is a faith-based, community nonprofit in Carroll County that offers CARF‑accredited addiction recovery treatment (residential and outpatient) and runs a large local food‑distribution program to relieve hunger. Its work combines clinical, physical, and spiritual support to help individuals recover and to serve families in need.

The mission of Family Gateway is to provide stability and life-changing supportive services to children and families affected by homelessness.

Interfaith empowers families in crisis to break the cycle of poverty. Interfaith provides housing for homeless families in one of our 23 lovingly decorated, furnished apartments. For those who are experiencing a financial crisis receive one-time emergency rent/utility assistance. In addition to meeting immediate needs, parents receive coaching weekly with their personal success coach and financial empowerment coach to provide the accountability and support needed to reach their goals. Additionally, unemployed and underemployed parents must participate in our Career Development Program until viable employment is obtained. We also provide on-site counseling, 0-5 extended-hours childcare in our state-licensed center, after-school & summer programs, and life skills training.
