Tails Of Valor Paws Of Honor Program

Our animal assisted therapy rehabilitation programs provide social interactions and human/canine bonding resulting in service dogs able to assist with the physical and psychological issues affecting our Veterans and their families. Our canines can enhance a therapeutic environment which will reduce friction caused when experiencing social activities, thus leading to increased communication and focus. Rather than an existence characterized by an endless cycle of mental illness diagnoses, medications, medical appointments and disappointments, our graduates have lives of pride, productivity, healthy relationships and continued service. After completion of our 7-Day Advance program, our graduates express a significant reduction in their social role, interpersonal relations and symptom distress. This translates into renewed purpose, focus, resolve and drive to get their lives back on track. And they do just that. Our warfighters regain control of their lives.
