Special Operators Transition Foundation (SOTF) runs a fellowship-style transition program that helps U.S. Special Operations veterans translate military skills into civilian careers. They provide personalized assessment, executive coaching, resume/interview support, networking with hiring partners, and alumni integration to place Fellows into high-performing companies.

Help Thy Neighbor Johnston County is a small local 501(c)(3) that provides direct assistance to families in Johnston County—helping with needs such as food, transportation, medical and funeral-related expenses. The group raises funds locally (events, rides, drives) and distributes aid to residents facing short-term financial hardship.

Tri Cities VFW Post 6872 is a local Veterans of Foreign Wars post that serves veterans and the community by promoting patriotism, distributing U.S. flags at Veterans Day and community ceremonies, and supporting veterans and needy families through community service, scholarships, and outreach.

NVHS works to eliminate homelessness among veterans in Central Florida by providing street-level outreach, homelessness-prevention case management, and transitional housing. They locate and stabilize veterans in crisis, connect them to benefits and services, and provide short-term housing and supports to help veterans regain stable, independent living.

She’s The Veteran is a women‑only veterans organization that focuses on improving female veterans’ mental health through regular programmatic activities and community gatherings, while also supporting and promoting research and advocacy to close gaps in women veterans’ healthcare.

Their mission: "TRUST IS THE FOUNDATION OF OUR PROGRAM. WITHOUT IT, WE HAVE NOTHING." Big Sky Bravery is founded on the belief that we owe a debt of gratitude to the members of our military’s active duty special operations forces. As elite military members, these individuals risk their lives to protect us. They do so under the radar and out of the spotlight. It is because of their selflessness and bravery that we are able to enjoy living in a safe and free America. To help show our gratitude, our primarily civilian-based organization is dedicated to providing these elite individuals with post-deployment decompression programs in Montana’s restorative surroundings. Our programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of these elite military members by building trust, brotherhood and friendships at this critical time in their lives as a means to improve their psychological and emotional wellbeing.
