Shred The Stress is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to serving those who have served us through a rare opportunity to alleviate the anxiety and trauma with a PEVs (Personal Electric Vehicles: electronic-powered riding devices, such as scooters, skateboards and unicycles).

Our mission is to empower female military service member and veterans with the resources needed to positively impact their civilian communities through programs that are beneficial, practical, and relevant.

Every day, 22 veteran lives are lost to suicide. Our mission is to end this terrible statistic! Victory Gym VHC was formed by disabled veterans. We continue to be operated by both veteran and civilian volunteers. We have the unique ability to address the specific needs of combat veterans through firsthand knowledge. Victory Gym VHC offers a community where members “speak the same language”, share similar experiences, and can once again feel camaraderie and a sense of importance. Victory Gym VHC is a special place where everyone is welcome. We are entirely staffed by volunteers (including management), all of our equipment has been donated, and every penny goes toward furthering our mission. Old Glory Honor Flight is dedicated to honoring our local war veterans one mission at a time.

The mission of Riley’s Army is to provide support to children with cancer and their families in Eastern North Carolina. organizing volunteers to provide individualized support for the family to maintain a healthy home environment; providing educational, financial and logistical support for the children and family as they navigate along the difficult path of childhood cancer treatment; facilitate efforts of existing service organizations, churches and individuals for pediatric cancer patients and their families; raise awareness of pediatric cancer and advocate for patient centered care.

CFVF United provides transition services to Combat Female Veterans (CFVs) and their families, supporting life after war. We accomplish this by:- Supporting the voices of Combat Female Veterans and their families at the local, state, and national levels-Addressing the unique and multi-layered post-deployment obstacles they face as military females-Connecting each of them with the vital resources and support structures necessary to ensure their healthy returns to the civilian world. CFVF United is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, founded and chiefly operated by Combat Female Veterans, representing all military branches. We are the only nonprofit exclusively serving the Combat Female Veteran population!

WFSD is dedicated to providing free service canines to Veterans struggling from combat-related post traumatic stress while reconnecting them to the life they fought for.

The purpose of Veterans Empowerment Organization, VEO, is to enhance the quality of life for all veterans on their journey to self-sufficiency. VEO’s mission is solely dedicated to helping veterans put their lives back together. Veterans Empowerment Organization was founded in 2008 to address the lack of services available to Atlanta’s homeless veterans. Over the years, more than 6,500 veterans have been served through transitional and supportive housing, workforce initiatives, mental health and substance use interventions to empower veterans on their journey to self-sufficiency.

War causes wounds and suffering that last beyond the battlefield. Swords to Plowshares' mission is to heal the wounds of war, to restore dignity, hope and self-sufficiency to all veterans in need, and to prevent and end homelessness and poverty among veterans.

The Vets To Vets United, Inc. mission is to: Provide as many veterans as possible in need of companionship, service and love with service, therapeutic or companion animals.Reduce the high numbers of animals unnecessarily euthanized in the local shelters, which are also in desperate need of love and companionship.Provide services and training at no cost to the veteran.Motivate our veterans by providing fun/educational activities and community service.
