In the air, Angel Flight West links volunteer pilots and commercial airlines with people whose non-emergency health needs require air transportation to access care. On the ground, volunteer drivers ferry passengers to and from their departure and destination airports.

The Bridge's purpose is to reduce adult long-term homelessness in Dallas and the surrounding region by developing, coordinating, and/or delivering the following services: outreach/intake, jail diversion/reentry, emergency shelter/transitional shelter, primary health care/behavioral health care, recreational/educational activities, employment/supported employment/disability income and affordable housing/supportive housing. The Bridge benefits the broader community with increasing public safety and improving public health.
