Guided by Catholic Vincentian values, it offers services ranging from independent living and childcare to memory care, short‑term rehabilitation and long‑term skilled nursing while preserving residents’ dignity.
To operate its Harvard Medical Schools affiliated chronic care hospital that provides seniors with compassionate long-term care, post-acute care, outpatient services and adult day health care.
Martha Jefferson House is a nonprofit senior‑living community that provides a full continuum of care — independent living, assisted living, and long‑term nursing — in a home‑like setting. It aims to support healthy aging and maximize residents’ physical and cognitive abilities through person‑centered care and on‑site therapeutic services.
East Cooper Meals on Wheels delivers daily nutrition to residents within our service area who are homebound or unable to provide their own meals. We also advocate on behalf of recipients whose needs exceed the scope of our program.
Citymeals on Wheels funds and coordinates the preparation and delivery of nutritious weekend, holiday, and emergency meals and provides regular social check‑ins for homebound older New Yorkers. The organization partners with community meal centers and the NYC Department for the Aging to ensure continuity of meals and companionship for frail, isolated seniors across all five boroughs.
