Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles is an extended family of compassionate social services that enriches the community and improves the lives of countless men, women and children of all religions, ethnicities and ages. For more than 150 years, JFS has counseled families, fed the hungry, sheltered the homeless and protected the vulnerable. As Los Angeles’ oldest and most dynamic charitable organization, JFS is a trusted source of care and support, meeting the diverse and changing needs of a diverse and changing city. As the leading Jewish social services agency in Los Angeles, Jewish Family Service LA is a trusted and critical source of support for the Jewish community. But our work does not stop there. Jewish values require – and the actions of JFSLA demonstrate – our commitment to serving everyone in the Los Angeles community, of all backgrounds and identities. The Air Force Enlisted Village (AFEV) is a nonprofit organization whose core mission is to provide a safe, secure home for surviving spouses of retired enlisted U.S. Airmen. Located along the beautiful Emerald Coast of northwest Florida in Shalimar near Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, apartments are available at Bob Hope Village, our independent living community, and at Hawthorn House, our assisted living and memory care residence located on the Bob Hope Village campus. Surviving spouses have come from all over the United States to live at Bob Hope Village and Hawthorn House. Residents of Bob Hope Village and Hawthorn House must be 55 years of age or older.

Soldiers' Angels is a national nonprofit providing aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and their families. Our hundreds of thousands of Angel volunteers assist veterans, wounded and deployed personnel and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways. "May No Soldier Go Unloved," encapsulates the motivation behind Soldiers' Angels.   The volunteers of Soldiers' Angels work tirelessly to demonstrate active care and concern for veterans, the wounded, deployed service members and their families.

Nurses for Newborns exists to provide a safety net for families most at-risk in order to prevent infant mortality, child abuse, and neglect by providing in-home nursing visits which promote healthcare, education, and positive parenting skills. We are saving babies and strengthening families.

Our mission is to walk alongside families, providing support-based programs that encourage self-sufficiency. In other words, we build relationships with families, treating them with our core values of Dignity and Accountability as they work to overcome barriers and improve their lives.

The mission of Boca Helping Hands is to provide compassionate service through food and assistance programs to individuals, families and children to instill dignity and break the cycle of dependence.  We work to complete our mission every day in our Hot Meal, Pantry, Financial Assistance, and Job Mentoring Programs.  In addition, we have special childrens programs to provide food and support to school age kids.

Utah Nonprofit Housing Corporation (UNPHC), founded in 1967, is a Utah non-profit developer of multi-family affordable housing. Staffed by volunteers until 1993, there are now almost 50 employees. UNPHC has 40 properties providing more than 1,800 units to over 2,000 individuals. In addition, UNPHC provides the property management to several of these projects, as well as technical assistance to other non profit organizations and communities wanting to develop their own affordable housing. Those we serve are low and very low income, making less than 50% of the area median income. The majority of properties serve seniors 62 and older, but UNPHC also serves special needs populations such as physically disabled, families, chronically mentally ill, homeless, families and individuals in transition from homelessness, and HIV/AIDS persons. We own 20 single-family rent-to-own homes, and a 24-unit town home project for first-time home buyers. The most basic human needs are shelter and food. If those needs are not met, individuals are excluded from other significant human interactions: employment, parenting, and social contributions. UNPHC is committed to the belief that the long-term solution to homelessness is safe, decent, and affordable housing.

ChildServe is a not-for-profit organization that partners with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life. Originally founded in 1928 as a convalescent home for children, today ChildServe provides specialized pediatric health care services to more than 2,000 children in Iowa. Through the support of private insurance, public funds, and the philanthropic efforts of the ChildServe Foundation, ChildServe offers accessible, family-centered care unique to each child’s needs, hopes, and dreams. Our mission is to reclaim New York City's streets from the automobile, and to advocate for bicycling, walking and public transit as the best transportation alternatives.

Founded in 1943, the mission of WJCS, a not-for-profit organization, is to provide care to people of all ages and backgrounds who are confronting significant challenges relating to mental health, trauma, disabilities, youth, and geriatric services. WJCS’ highly trained staff serve more than 20,000 Westchester County residents each year through approximately 88+ programs. Through private funding and support from UJA-Federation of New York, WJCS also meets the diverse needs of the Westchester Jewish community, providing educational and spiritual programming in Jewish day schools, nursery schools, and synagogues.

Family-to-Family, Inc. is a grassroots nonprofit 501(c)(3) hunger and poverty relief organization dedicated to providing food, personal hygiene products and other basic life essentials to American families struggling with the challenges of poverty. By connecting donors one-to-one with specific families in need, family-to-family’s mission is to bring a large and seemingly intractable problem – poverty – into personal focus, making proactive, attainable results possible…one family at a time.
