AIDEST's mission is to give hope to the less fortunate Ugandan children and youth a chance for a better future by providing education and practical training and consecutive career guidance for them to become self-sustaining.

We fight child poverty by supporting education, sustainability, Basic care and talent development of Orphaned and rural poor children in Uganda. We believe that rural poor children are so deprived of the opportunities available to other children. We are dedicated to providing them opportunities to enjoy their childhood and have hope for a brighter future as they also grow to serve their community. MULIA exists to instill hope and engender a sense of continuity in young people aged four and above who may be orphaned, homeless, HIV positive, and/or unable to attend school. Using available resources, we promote the talents and develop the skills of Uganda's vulnerable youth in a community built around music, dance, drama, and mentor-ship.

At ISA, we believe in the potential of the largest ever young generation. When young people have the motivation, the skills and the opportunities they will be able to make the change they want to see in their lives and in the places they live, study and work. Our programmes do exactly that. Why is this needed? Young people in the underserved communities we work, often lack safe spaces where they can team-up, there is a limited supply of positive activities to engage in, and there are few opportunities for young people to attain quality education or income opportunities. Together with community organisations, (youth) coaches and mentors, we're turning tables and by providing opportunities for young people to make a future for themselves and that of the entire community.

We empower women and children living in rural communities to overcome social injustice, disease, illiteracy, and poverty. Our small-scale interventions enhance their social and economic well being and help them reach their potential.

Founding principles: We efficiently respond to the urgent needs of orphans and vulnerable children and the communities they live in. We believe that education is one of the fundamentals of success. By paying for students' school fees and providing scholastic materials (ie. school uniforms), we increase the opportunity for educational achievement.

We are a South African registered charity dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health. We are committed to using sport as a tool to develop the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth. We do this by; 1. Using direct sports coaching - for its health benefits, improved emotional well being and increased life skills (teamwork, leadership, decision making, communication). 2. Using sport to discuss critical issues - by delivering curriculums on topics such as HIV / AIDS awareness in a fun and interactive manner on the sports field. 3. Using sport for improved education - by providing pathways to success for talented and dedicated individuals through scholarships to top local schools and tertiary education.

JFCU advocates for and supports the rights and needs of children affected by all forms of violence and/or whose right to education has been denied. Special attention is given to children heading households and those affected by child marriage and armed conflict.
