THE FOUNDATION IS IN A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CHICAGO PARK DISTRICT WHEREBY THE FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS FOR INSTRUCTOR SALARIES, BOATS AND MAINTENANCE COSTS WHILE THE PARK DISTRICT OPERATES THE PROGRAM ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS.

Chicago 16 Inch Softball Hall Of Fame

The site of the museum is located at Harrison Street and Des Plaines Avenue in Forest Park, a site that was selected to pay homage to both the beautiful Forest Park area and to the Forest Park No-Gloves Nationals, one of softball’s premier tournaments. Located at the end of the Blue Line rapid transit system and directly across the street from an exit of the Eisenhower Expressway, visitors and guests are provided easy access to the museum.
