Through such partnerships, we provide numerous opportunities for any individual or corporation looking to engage in direct volunteer service and community participation. Younited Belgium, that's 28 Younited teams who believe in the power of football and the power of people. They offer experts in daily survival a home in their football team. Our players and supporters are experts in daily survival. They struggle with vulnerability on different domains like housing, mental health, wellbeing, poverty or addiction. We resolutely choose to start from the power that people have in them, instead of naming them with the problems that they have to deal with. Whether it's the warmth of the dressing room, or the adrenaline on the pitch, the rush of victory or the sadness in defeat: at Younited Belgium, we share both joys and sorrows. Our players find in their team more than just teammates, they also find a home.

TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL AND SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS TO THE CHALLENGES EXPERIENCED BY PEOPLE LIVING IN INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS DUE TO POVERTY

buntkicktgut was founded almost 20 years ago in Munich, Germany, in the context of social work with children and young people in community houses for refugees. Since then buntkicktgut has been ghting two main problems: social marginalization and limited access to education. The program fosters social integration by giving young people with diverse cultural backgrounds and origins a wide range of opportunities to participate in the project. The participants create their own league system and buntkicktgut allow the children to find their own solutions to problems that arise. In the competitive context of a street football league, buntkicktgut promotes basic social values such as fairness, tolerance, participation and ahimsa. In return the young people receive respect and appreciation, regardless of their individual circumstances and cultural background. buntkicktgut offers regular neighborhood based street football activity via their Street Football Work approach and also organizes a year-round league system in six different categories. With many activities beyond the matchdays - such as refereeing courses, a league council, a magazine from kids for kids, summer camps and journeys to other cities - buntkicktgut guarantees the important continuity and long term involvement of the target group as well as their participation in the organization, development and decision making processes of the leagues. The organization has developed into one of the most impressive street football programs in Europe. Every week more than 4500 children take part in the different buntkicktgut activities all over Germany. Since its founding buntkicktgut has been the pioneer for orga- nized street football. During the last 20 years more than 45,000 kids have been participated in buntkicktgut's tournaments. The buntkicktgut family is growing and is forming a widespread network all over the world since its establishment. The street football network of buntkicktgut is growing by hosting teams and visiting partners all over the world. In about 20 years we create new partnerships in Switzerland, UK, Austria, Hungary, Poland, France, Togo, Cameroon, China, Israel, Lebanon and Iraq. buntkicktgut wants to enable more young people in other cities in Germany and Europe to participate in continuous street football leagues like in Munich. In addition to the leagues in Munich and Dortmund, buntkicktgut is operating league-systems in Berlin, Wurzburg, Lower Bavaria and Dusseldorf in cooperation with local partners. Besides working in several German cities, buntkicktgut is establishing itself as an international player for sport and development through its engaging cross cultural football leagues. In 2015 three new Leagues in Sokode (Togo) and Lome (Togo) and Basel (CH) were established. Subotica (SRB) and Zurich (CH) will follow soon. In Munich alone every year more than 200 teams with more than 2,500 participants from over 100 different cultures and nations take part throughout the year in winter and summer leagues. Today buntkicktgut is going back to the roots and offers at the moment more than 55 Refugee and neighbourhood based trainings every week and the enquiry is growing. buntkicktgut was awarded for exceptional social work by the German Football Association (DFB) and Mercedes-Benz in 2007 and 2013; by the Lord Mayor of Munich in December 2000; by the Lord Mayor of Dortmund in November 2013; by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany for its efforts in the integration of immigrants in August 2002; and in October 2014 by the Federal Agency for Civic Education in Berlin in the competi- tion "Active for Democracy and Tolerance"; in September 2015 buntkicktgut has been certcated with the PHINEO impact-label. Last year buntkicktgut received the prize of the competition Excellent Places in the Land of Ideas" (Ausgezeichnete Orte im Land der Ideen") under the patronage of the the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Improve the quality of life of families in urban marginalization in Mexico City

The TimeHeroes Foundation was founded in 2011 with the goal to build and develop the volunteering culture in Bulgaria. Today the organisation runs the largest volunteering platform in Bulgaria - TimeHeroes.org. By the end of January 2018, TimeHeroes.org has matched 638 organisations which need support for their causes with over 40 000 individuals who wish to donate their time and skills. So far the volunteers have taken part 65 379 times in 1400 volunteering initiatives (called missions) in 175 towns across Bulgaria. The platform is the main, and often sole, source for Bulgarian nonprofit organizations and active citizens to recruit volunteers. To achieve our mission to develop Bulgaria's volunteering culture, we run several further projects. ANNUAL AWARDS We established the annual volunteering awards THE HEROES, which reward outstanding volunteers, organisers, responsible companies and media (after open nominations), and promote and stimulate volunteering as a whole. In 2017 a jury selected 23 of the 226 nominees and these were announced at an official ceremony that was widely covered in media, was attended by 250+ guests and was streamed 26 000 times. YOUTH VOLUNTEERING We are growing a network of school and university volunteer clubs across the country. Over 30 clubs are currently active with 500+ student members organising their own community-based initiatives or supporting existing volunteer missions held by local nonprofits. SENIORS' VOLUNTEER PHONE LINE We operate a National Volunteers' Phone Line volunteering telephone line as an alternative to the website for people without access to the internet or a computer, mainly targeting seniors and retirees. This project aims to tackle the pervasive societal isolation in this age group in Bulgaria. CAPACITY BUILDING Through workshops and systematised good practices we are actively building the capacity of Bulgarian nongovernmental organisations for working with volunteers. In 2015-2016 we collected and systematised the experience of 250 Bulgarian NGOs working with volunteers. We are sharing this know-how in a wiki platform, a 100-page handbook and a series of workshops. Over 1000 NGOs have received the handbook, about 100 have so far participated in our highly-rated workshops. We also fundraise and distribute monthly small grants enabling volunteer involvement in causes.

Trans-Forme aims to rehabilitate the Transplant and the Dialysis patients through physical activities, to raise public awareness about the sucess of transplantation and about the need to donate organs and tissues, and to encourage research about transplantation, dialysis and sport.

The Valley Rovers Ladies Football Club's mission is to continue to develop our volunteer coaches to a standard that will allow all players be the best that they can, and to retain them playing, through different activities to generate community spirit.
