The Firefighters Burn Institute is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded by Sacramento Fire Captain Cliff Haskell and the Sacramento Area Firefighters, Local 522 in 1973 for the purpose of establishing a local burn treatment facility; providing recovery programs for burn survivors; promoting fire and burn prevention through public education; funding education for medical burn team professionals, firefighters, and burn survivors; and supporting burn treatment and rehabilitation research.

Our mission is to provide appropriate & diversified programs & activities that serve to attract & hold area youth to the Clubhouse. We provide an environment that teaches children the skills needed to build positive lives, attitudes & behaviors.Our core purpose is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Painted Turtle’s mission is to provide a year-round, life-changing environment and authentic camp experience for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The Painted Turtle supports children’s medical needs, inspires them to reach beyond their illnesses, and provides care, education and respite for their families. All campers and families attend free of charge. Of the more than one million children in California with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, our needs assessment revealed more than 17,500 are unable to attend summer camp due to their medical conditions. That is, until we came along! The Painted Turtle provides these children and their families with an empowering, renewing experience completely free of charge. The Painted Turtle offers year-round programs including: Spring and Fall Family Weekends for the entire family, one-day family events, week-long Summer Sessions, and hospital/community outreach programs.  

The OUTMUSIC Awards (OMAs) is the biggest night in LGBT music & entertainement presented by LARA the LGBT Academy of Recording Arts. Their mission is to educate, raise awareness and ensure that the contributions and achievements of marginalized LGBT are acknowledged, documented, celebrated and included in media, music and entertainment history. To support their missions, they film the OUTMUSIC Awards live to tape.

Girls Rock Philly is a youth-centered music organization dedicated to building an intergenerational community of girls, women, and trans and gender non-conforming people. Through the practice of fearless expression, artistic experimentation, and collaboration, they build the confidence and leadership skills needed to transform themselves and communities.

We never take a single approach to help kids succeed. It takes caring mentors, such as our trained Club staff. It takes a safe place, like our Clubs, that are consistently there for kids they serve. It takes innovative, quality programs designed to empower youth to excel in school and lead healthy productive lives. We do whatever it takes to ensure all kids have a great future.

"CAP will help any child in need who is living with hair loss due to all forms of Alopecia." We raise awareness of Alopecia and the self-esteem in children so they become stronger teens and productive adults.

Body Wisdom, Inc.'s mission is to spread InterPlay. InterPlay is a global social movement dedicated to ease, connection, human sustainability and play. It is an active, creative way to unlock the wisdom of the body. This 20-year-old system is based in a series of incremental "forms" that lead participants to movement and stories, silence and song.

The Lewis "Eddie" Winstead Memorial Fund, Inc. was founded in 2017 with a mission to support student-athletes interested in pursuing education in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through mentorship; to develop alternatives and creative solutions to drug usage and alcohol abuse; and to provide tools to develop leaders of the future.
