Another Awesome Day is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to teen suicide awareness and prevention. We believe in the power of community, creativity, and holistic wellness practices to help teens share their stories, connect in real life, and thrive in an increasingly digital age.
The Ruth Ellis Center (REC), incorporated in 1999, is a youth social services agency with a mission “to provide short-term and long-term residential safe space and support services for runaway, homeless, and at-risk lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.” As LGBTQ youth continue to be disproportionately affected by homelessness, the Ruth Ellis Center remains dedicated to ensuring that these vulnerable youth and young adults receive the services and inherent protections available to all citizens. While the Center emphasizes serving LGBTQ youth who are often ostracized, shamed, and denied services by other agencies, no youth, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation is turned away or denied services
HealthRIGHT 360 gives hope, builds health, and changes lives for people in need. We do this by providing compassionate, integrated care that includes primary medical, mental health, substance use disorder treatment and re-entry services.
Beyond Sport invests in organizations, programs and networks using sport to positively impact communities globally. Employing a unique and holistic approach, Beyond Sport’s programs leverage a global network of sport for social change innovators, progressive organizations and expertise built up over more than a decade to tackle issues head on and collectively. To date, the organization has provided 301 grants, totalling $9.1M across 66 countries.
Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy. Our programming – delivered to 156,000 girls in partnership with schools and at our centers – across 83 affiliates in over 330 cities and 1,400 sites focuses on the development of the whole girl. A combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a safe pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to lead healthy and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty, and become role models in their communities.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA) is a youth empowerment organization whose mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Los Angeles is home to one of the most diverse populations in the country and along with being one of the largest affiliates of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, BBBSLA is also one of the largest youth mentoring organizations in Southern California. Every year, we impact nearly 1,500 children throughout Los Angeles County—many of whom are referred to as being “at-risk” or “high-risk” youths. With the help of our amazing staff, army of selfless volunteers and generous donors, we continue to empower lives and provide our Littles with the opportunities and skill sets they need and deserve in order to achieve, succeed, and awaken their full potential.
