Our mission is to increase educational opportunities for immigrant students in Maryland by: Offering scholarships to immigrant students who graduate from a Maryland high school for post-secondary studies Providing guidance to immigrant students regarding educational options and opportunities through a comprehensive mentorship program Increasing immigrant families’ access to educational resources Strengthening support services through culturally-responsive professional learning for educators and community partners

Girl Up Initiative Uganda aims to provide young women and girls with opportunities to succeed and thrive as leaders in their communities through holistic education and economic empowerment. We envision a world where girls get to reach and tap into their full potential through access to an education, and develop into economically independent, empowered young women who can fully contribute to their families and communities as a whole.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson (BGCC) offers our young people a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves, dedicated adult mentors who respect and listen to them, and outcome-based programs that empower youth to become lifelong learners.

The Richstone Family Center is dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse and trauma; strengthening and educating families; and eliminating violence in families, schools and communities.

Triangle Special Hockey Association / Triangle Sled Hockey Association are dedicated to the development and enjoyment of ice hockey for developmentally or physically challenged youth and adults. We are associated with USA Hockey Disabled Hockey. We serve the Triangle and surrounding areas of North Carolina. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization consisting of parents, volunteers, sponsors and of course, our exceptional athletes.

All children in foster care have success in school and life. Friends of Wednesday’s Child transforms the lives of children in foster care through education.

Solar Youth’s mission is to empower youth from New Haven’s high-poverty neighborhoods to achieve lifelong success. We do this through our unique program model which includes LONG-TERM supportive relationships, and programs that happen IN their neighborhoods where youth EXPLORE their ENVIRONMENT, become PROBLEM-SOLVERS and practice LEADERSHIP. Founded in 2000, Solar Youth has served over 3,000 children aged 4 to 18+. In the coming years we are looking to expand to serve MORE youth, and serve them BETTER - ensuring they have the on-going strategic supports to (1) graduate from high school; (2) with a post-HS plan; (3) prepared for success.

Community Initiatives acts as a thought-partner and provides professional services to nonprofit startups, established initiatives, networks, and collaborations. We sponsor initiatives for the benefit of communities in service to social change.
