Wellspring is open to all cancer patients, their families and care givers, all of whom are known as members. Wellspring is welcoming and comfortable in nature, external to hospitals or treatment centres, and is devoid of any “institutional” feeling. Volunteers and group leaders providing programs at Wellspring deliver only cancer support services and not medical treatment or medical therapies, nor services for patients with diseases other than cancer. Wellspring receives no government funding and offers all programs and services at no charge to our members and without referral.

The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation, affectionately known as SickKids Foundation, is the largest non-governmental granting agency in child health in Canada. Established in 1972, SickKids Foundation has granted over $300 million to The Hospital for Sick Children and over $60 million to researchers across the country. Through its National Grants Program, SickKids Foundation is the only granting program with a national, multi-year initiative to study two understudied but important areas of child health: the role of complementary and alternative health care and child health, and to study home care and children and youth. We have invested our community’s contributions in outstanding patient care, research and education. We believe there is no one else in Canada as dedicated as we are to eliminating the gap between what is happening in child health research, education and training, and what should be happening.

From modest beginnings almost 100 years ago, Wood’s Homes has grown into a multi-service agency helping Canada's most troubled young people. Programs are now located in Calgary, Strathmore, Lethbridge, Canmore, Ft. McMurray, and Ft. Smith. NWT. We are a nationally accredited, non-profit organization that serves 20,000 troubled young people & their families from across Canada every year. We operate over 30 programs & services including: 24/7 intensive residential treatment, in-home family support, crisis intervention, community outreach, foster care, addiction/substance abuse treatment, no-fee, walk-in counselling.

The Shoebox Project collects and delivers gifts in-kind to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Gifts are valued at $50 and contain a mixture of basic necessities and little luxuries. A gift from The Shoebox Project helps to reduce social isolation and is an important reminder for a woman living in poverty that despite her circumstances, she remains a valued member of her community. We are currently active in 9 cities across the USA (including New York, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh) and in 35 Canadian cities.

We are a South African registered charity dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health. We are committed to using sport as a tool to develop the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth. We do this by; 1. Using direct sports coaching - for its health benefits, improved emotional well being and increased life skills (teamwork, leadership, decision making, communication). 2. Using sport to discuss critical issues - by delivering curriculums on topics such as HIV / AIDS awareness in a fun and interactive manner on the sports field. 3. DARE Network provides culturally appropriate non-medical treatment & prevention education to reduce substance abuse & associated social issues within the communities of displaced ethnic people from Burma, along the Thai/Burma border.
