Equal Rights Beyond Borders is a Greek-German human rights organisation that works to enforce the rights of people on the move and their families. With offices in Athens, Berlin, Chios and Kos, we provide free legal aid to support people on the move in their struggle against illegal and arbitrary practices at the EU's external borders. Witnessing violations of our clients' fundamental rights on a daily basis, our international team of human rights lawyers and advocates relies on legal means to defend and protect the dignity and equality of every person in need, regardless of their individual background. We support those who live in zones of lawlessness, where individual rights are disregarded and violated on a daily basis. We believe that all persons should have access to highly qualified legal support. As a matter of course, we provide legal aid to refugees, asylum seekers and their families in Greece and Germany free of charge. We focus on casework and litigation in front of Greek, German and European courts. We stand with people on the move in the fight against undignified living conditions on the Greek mainland and in the island camps, against unlawful detention, and against illegal deportations. A special focus of ours is legal advice in family reunification cases from all over the world. In addition to individual legal aid, we engage in strategic litigation, research and advocacy.

Rise Against Hunger is an ever-growing global movement with the goal of ending world hunger and poverty by empowering communities and responding quickly to emergencies.
To address aspiring unbanked entrepreneurs and contribute to no poverty globally, we introduced a groundbreaking new business model: the first-ever pay-it-forward community microloan, merging charity and microfinance. We secure donations from the Global North, which are then transformed into microloans in the Global South. As businesses thrive, loans are paid forward to new entrepreneurs in the same community, creating a sustainable ripple effect of new initiatives and independent local financial structures.

Siel Bleu's Mission: empowering lives through movement At Siel Bleu, our mission goes beyond simply encouraging physical activity; we believe that movement has the power to transform lives. Through tailored and accessible physical activity programs, we strive to enhance the health, independence, and well-being of individuals, particularly older adults and vulnerable populations. Whether through community-based programs or collaborations with healthcare providers, we are committed to empowering people of all ages to lead healthier, more active lives. We know that the benefits of movement go far beyond physical fitness. Regular exercise can improve mobility, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, boost mental health, and combat isolation. For older adults and those facing physical or cognitive challenges, staying active is essential for maintaining a high quality of life. That's why we design our programs to meet individuals where they are, adapting each session to their abilities and needs. Whether it's through gentle movement, strength-building activities, or social engagement, our goal is to make every person feel capable, supported, and motivated to stay active. Our approach is grounded in inclusivity, which is why we make physical activity accessible to everyone. We understand that barriers to exercise-such as limited mobility, lack of motivation, or social isolation-can make it difficult for some to get started. By creating a safe and welcoming environment, we ensure that every participant can enjoy the benefits of movement, regardless of their starting point. Our programs are designed not just to improve physical health, but also to strengthen mental and emotional well-being, offering a holistic approach that focuses on the whole person. But our impact doesn't stop there. At Siel Bleu, we are also deeply committed to creating a sense of community and social connection. For many individuals, particularly older adults, isolation can be a major challenge. Our programs provide not only the physical benefits of exercise but also the social and emotional support that comes from being part of a group. By fostering meaningful relationships and bringing people together through shared activities, we combat loneliness and help individuals build stronger, more supportive social networks. We also recognize the critical role that caregivers and healthcare professionals play in the well-being of those we serve. Our programs support caregivers by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to care for others while also taking care of their own health. Through educational resources and hands-on support, we empower caregivers to integrate physical activity into their caregiving routines, improving their own health while enhancing the quality of life for those they care for. The heart of our mission is rooted in collaboration. By working alongside healthcare providers, local community organizations, and international partners, we build networks of support that create lasting change. Together, we strive to improve access to physical activity, reduce healthcare costs, and ensure that all individuals, regardless of age or ability, have the opportunity to live independently and participate fully in society. Siel Bleu currently operates across Europe, with a strong presence in France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Germany and Ireland, and we are excited to expand our reach further. We aim to bring our programs to more countries, ensuring that even more people benefit from the power of movement. Our goal is to create a widespread network that promotes active aging and supports individuals in living their lives to the fullest, regardless of their circumstances. At Siel Bleu, we are not just helping people move-we are helping them thrive. Our programs aim to create a world where health, mobility, and community are accessible to everyone. By empowering individuals through movement, we foster healthier, happier lives and build stronger communities where all individuals can contribute to society, regardless of their age or physical abilities. healthcare costs, and ensure that all individuals, regardless of age or ability, have the opportunity to live independently and participate fully in society. The organisation reflects its members' shared concern for the future of humanity and the planet. The association sees its task as acting as an independent, global catalyst for change. The objectives of the Association are therefore: to identify the key issues that are critical to the future of humanity; to evaluate alternative scenarios for the future and assess risks, choices and opportunities through integrated and forward-looking analyses; to develop and propose practical solutions to the identified challenges; to communicate new insights and knowledge from these analyses to decision-makers in the public and private sectors, as well as to the wider public; to stimulate public debate and effective action to improve the prospects for the future of humanity and the planet. The Association's activities are guided by the following three complementary principles: 1. the need to adopt a global, systems-oriented perspective in analysing the problems facing the modern world, recognising that the increasing interdependence of nations and the globalisation of previously local problems create challenges that are beyond the capacity of individual countries. 2. the need for a comprehensive, holistic approach in order to gain a deeper understanding of the complexity and interconnectedness of both current problems and practical solutions, in political, social, economic, technological, environmental, psychological and cultural terms, which the association refers to as the 'world problematique'. 3. the need to emphasise transdisciplinary and long-term perspectives, which are all too often neglected by governments and other decision-makers, and to focus on those decisions, strategies and measures that will determine the fate of present and future generations. The aim is to arouse public interest and provide responsible decision-makers with a solid basis for formulating and implementing future-oriented measures. The association does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not seek to make a profit.
