The Inter-professional Group of Rehabilitation in Neuropsychology (GIRN) We believe that neurorehabilitation effectiveness after acquired brain injury (ABI) depends on inter-professional competency. All health professionals who work in the field of neurorehabiliation, as well as students, can become a member of GIRN, in order to be educated and updated on knowledge in the field of ABI. By means of specific conferences and workshop, neuro-cognitive rehabilitative protocols and guidelines, are shared and discussed among participants. GIRN works in partnership with several public and private institutions, in line with European and worldwide guidelines in this field. Furthermore, GIRN considers not only the patients with acquired brain injury but also their caregivers, as well as the environment in accordance with a biopsychosocial, holistic rehabilitation approach. In particular, we address caregiver needs by means of psychoeducational interventions in order to improve the patient management and outcome. Our aim is to optimally support the family system by means of a network, which assists in reducing caregiver burden and distress particularly on community re-entry.

The FCRB is a private, non-profit foundation set up in 1989 by the Hospital Clinic Barcelona and the University of Barcelona. Its main mission is to provide administrative support to researchers at Hospital Clinic Barcelona in the management, development and justification of their scientific activity. It also works to attract resources for research and, through the Aula Clinic and Eixample Clinic platforms, to promote and disseminate continuous training in the health sciences.

Prevencion de las circunstancias que agravan y/o dificultan los procesos de integracion sociofamiliar en el ambito de este colectivo. Mejorar las condiciones y la calidad de vida de las personas atendidas. Colaboracion con los organismos publicos y entidades privadas en la mejora de las situaciones individuales y globales de la infancia y la adolescencia con dificultades para su pleno crecimiento y desarrollo y su plena participacion social y familiar.

to provide a safe and supportive home for young LGBTIQA+ individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who have been victims of family violence, bullying, or any form of LGBTIQ-phobia and are at risk of social exclusion. The foundation, located in Madrid, Spain, aims to help these young individuals build a better future and overcome the challenges of their past. We offer free accommodation for up to one year, along with vocational and educational counseling, guiding them toward becoming independent and responsible adults, leading balanced, healthy, and liberated lives. The foundation also provides comprehensive psychosocial support, including therapy, personal guidance, and group activities during their stay. Additionally, Fundacion Eddy is dedicated to creating awareness about homelessness and promoting LGBTIQ+ content.

We seek to involve the local population in this process of social integration in order to achieve a more cohesive society. Monica Esteban, the founder, in 2010 gave a Play Station to a boy who was going through a chemotherapy treatment in hospital and, immediately, she was able to observe how the little boy cheered up and faced his illness with a smile. Since then, we've been able to witness on a daily basis how playing games provide tremendous benefits for hospitalized children. Being away from home, away from their family and in an unknown environment, the hospital experience intimidates them. This is when video games, the tablet and the possibility of playing in a garden without leaving the hospital become a fundamental tool to connect with the world and make them forget where they are, at least while the game lasts.

he World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is an international non-governmental organisation representing and promoting approximately 70 million deaf people's human rights worldwide. The WFD is a federation of deaf organisations from 134 nations; its mission is to promote the human rights of deaf people and full, quality and equal access to all spheres of life, including self-determination, sign language, education, employment and community life. WFD has a consultative status in the United Nations and is a founding member of International Disability Alliance (IDA). At its recent World Congress in Jeju, South Korea, WFD members (136) approved the WFD strategic direction 2023-2030 and Action Plan 2023-2027. Important themes are covered in these 2 documents which strive to ensure that we create access for all deaf people to all ways of life in "a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere" (vision). Furthermore, our mission is to work towards the full realisation of linguistic rights and human rights in all areas of life, with full recognition and implementation of these rights across local, national and international levels. To realise our mission and vision, the following are part of our Action Plan 2023-2027: Building Capacity across the Globe: ensuring increased participation of women, youth and underrepresented communities; provide effective capacity building projects to countries who are not yet members to assist them with creating their own national deaf associations so that they can represent themselves in their countries; Putting Deaf people on the Agenda: the WFD will continue to strive to put deaf human rights at the forefront of all representation internationally, including at the UN; we will effectively promote International Week of Deaf people and be ready to response to deaf people's needs in times of crises, disasters and war. Realising nothing about us without us: the WFD continues to be the leading authority for deaf people and sign languages and has committed to developing resources to assist deaf people raise awareness in their countries. Achieving Sign Language Rights for all: National sign languages are fundamental to achieving deaf people's human rights. We will aim to assist our member states in promoting the legal recognition of signed language in the country and advocate for early childhood language acquisition and inclusive multilingual education policies. Investing in a strong and sustainable organisation: to carry out our mission and vision we need greater investment in our secretariat and regional secretariat, expand our donor base, increase visibility and fundraising activities so that our organisation can carry on its important global work.
