We want to ensure no retired police dog is ever euthanised due to lack of financial means by their new owners. WAGs was set up to help these beneficiaries (the handlers and members of the pubic who take on looking after the retired police dogs) with the cost of life saving veterinary treatment to ensure the retired police dogs can be given the veterinary treatment they require to allow them to lead a happy healthy retirement after they have served the public for years as police dogs.
