The pavilion and field are at the heart of community life in Fownhope: a place for sport, play, gatherings, and simple everyday enjoyment. Over the past year we’ve built a new patio, added the village’s first public EV charger, welcomed new football teams, and worked with local groups such as the Boules group and Fownhope Fringe to keep improving the site. Our volunteers give their time and energy freely, saving the parish considerable money each year, but there are always costs — repairs, equipment replacement, and future improvements such as safer access, new benches and dedicated car parking spaces.Every donation helps us keep the pavilion and field open, welcoming and well cared for — from footballers to walkers, toddlers and tea-drinkers, indeed everyone who loves this beautiful, shared space at the heart of Fownhope.
