Established in 1980, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) has been delivering frontline humanitarian aid for 40 years. We work in 23 countries across the globe providing access to safe water, sanitation services and facilities, hygiene and shelter assistance, and food security, livelihoods, protection, and cash-based support for over 4.6 million people.

South Sudan Grassroots Initiative for Development (SSGID) is a National non-profit, Humanitarian and Development community organization established in the year 2013 and registered with the Ministry of Justice (Registration Number 1921) and the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (Registration Number 350). SSGID was founded by a group of women and youth of South Sudan with the aim of responding to the ever increasing social, economic, and health challenges affecting the predominantly rural / pastoral population of the Country. SSGID philosophy is based on the principle of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) where target communities are viewed as ASSETS with lots of opportunities, resources and ability to influence their desired outcomes other than as Problem Centres for humanitarian actions. SSGID, therefore, supports communities through a wide range of programmes that are community-driven with a niche on community innovation and problem solving. SSGID's programmes are focussed on vulnerable women and girls because SSGID subscribes to the belief that "if you educate a woman, you educate a nation." In addition women and girls are the worst affected categories of people in South Sudan as far as poverty, education attainment, human rights violation besides being marginalized in development programmes. SSGID also believes that youths play a very key role in transforming societies and are regarded to be having proactive minds towards development as well as being enthusiastic members of the society. SSGID provides Livelihood skills training and capacity building programmes to empower the young women and men in the communities so that they could contribute to their own development and build a resilient and sustainable community Vision Statement: Just, educated, healthy, equitable, peace loving and self-sustaining communities. Objectives: SSGID is driven by the following core objectives in its programme design and interaction with various Promotion and strengthening of sustainable agriculture among women and youth. Improvement of health and solidification of communities' response to emerging health issues. Women and youth empowerment through education and human rights advocacy. Promotion of peaceful co-existence among citizens and proactive participation in good governance stakeholders. Equity Promoting equitable and equal opportunities for all the beneficiaries and in employment in SSGID. Integrity A very high sense of moral and ethical standards in all SSGID dealings with all stakeholders and the public. The objectives for which SSGID operates are to ultimately give dignity to the people of South Sudan and to make them realise and enjoy a peaceful coexistence from within South Sudan and with the wider world community. Specifically, this will be achieved through the following objectives: i. Advocate for the large communities' social and development interests. ii. Mobilize local resources and other sources of incomes from individuals, international organisations, State governments and groups in furthering its mission. iii. Promote and carry out research, in furthering of its activities. iv. Promote community activities through singular or join workshops, exhibitions, meetings, lecture classes, seminars and training courses. v. Collect and disseminate information and exchange such information with other bodies having similar objects whether in South Sudan or overseas. vi. To acquire any moveable or immovable property and any buildings or things whatsoever and sell, dispose of Mortgage, lease or otherwise deal with all or any part of the property or rights of the Organization. vii. To enter into any arrangement with any governments or authorities that may seem conducive to the Organization's objects or any of them, and to obtain from such government or authority any rights, privileges and concessions which the Organization may think desirable to obtain. viii. To promote or assist in the promotion of any organization or company or other body having objects similar to those of the Organization. ix. Undertake, execute, manage and/or assist in any charitable work that may be lawfully undertaken, managed or assisted by other organisations. x. Write, publish, print or otherwise reproduce, circulate, gratuitously or otherwise distribute such documents, papers, books, newsletters, periodic, pamphlets or other documents, films and/or record tapes, (whether audio or visual or both) as shall be permitted by the laws of Publication and Access to Information Act of the Republic of South Sudan. xi. Carry out any such other lawful thing as may be necessary for the said objectives. SSGID supports vulnerable communities of South Sudan by acting in the following areas i. Rescue, provide emergency care, rehabilitate and resettle women and children and other IDPs. ii. Promote community health. iii. Improve community water, sanitation and hygiene. iv. Advocate and work for gender empowerment. v. Promote Education in emergency and peace situations. vi. Engage in Peace Building and Human Rights promotion at community level. vii. Promote Youth and women Enterprise and Vocational Skills Development. viii. Carry out Humanitarian Emergencies. ix. Engage in Research and Development. x. Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) - translated as Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organisation founded by doctors and journalists in 1971 in Paris. Our teams are made up of tens of thousands of health professionals, logistic and administrative staff - bound together by our charter. We are a global movement, with staff from over 160 countries. MSF provides medical relief to the victims of war, disease and natural or man-made disaster, without regard to race, religion, or political affiliation. Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality. We are a non-profit, self-governed, member-based organisation. The association's independence is guaranteed by the fact that it is funded 99% privately, mainly by individual donors and companies. MSF is an international movement of associations organised in 23 sections and 6 operational centers. The executive entities (sections and delegated offices) are linked to one of MSF's operational centers: Amsterdam (OCA), Barcelona-Athens (OCBA), Brussels (OCB), Geneva (OCG) and Paris (OCP). Operations are run from these centers. Each operational center has its own patterning with its partner sections. Since 2019, an association has been added to the list of entities that can lead operations: WaCA (West and Central Africa). 91.2% of our expenses are directly allocated to the social mission, with only 8.4% of operating & fundraising expenses. MSF makes financial transparency and rigorous management of its accounts a priority. The 3 audits of the Cour des Comptes (The French Court of Auditors) in 1998, 2004 and 2010 resulted in particularly commendable reports. Logistical strength: MSF Logistique (located in Merignac, France), is a dedicated entity created in 1986. The Merignac base is one of the world's largest centres for the transport of humanitarian supplies, with 18,500 m of storage space. It allows us to be very responsive in our operations, with the possibility of sending more than 100 tons of emergency supplies in 24 hours. Driving change: new approaches for greater impact. Throughout its history, MSF has sought to create dynamics for change and to benefit the populations it serves.

Community Skills Development is a community humanitarian organization whose mission is to work with the disadvantaged, destitute, the poor and oppressed to foster integral human transformation this we fulfil by the following: TRANSFORMATIONAL DEVELOPMENT; building capacities, empowering the weak, disadvantaged and vulnerable, PROMOTION OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT; by responding to emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies; and WORKING WITH COMMUNITY; based organizations, Government Institutions and Churches regardless of Creed, Gender and Tribe

1) Provide timely humanitarian relief in emergencies to help people whose lives have been threatened by conflicts and natural disasters. 2) Assist communities whose social foundations have been destroyed by providing rehabilitation and development cooperation for self-sustainability. 3) Pursue conflict prevention and resolution through our field activities. 4) Raise public awareness by disseminating information on assistance needs. 5) Put forward proposals for improving the effectiveness of relief-providing mechanisms in society.

CARITAS AUSTRIA relief work addresses the needy in their entirety, taking also into consideration their physical, psychological and spiritual-religious backgrounds. CARITAS AUSTRIA commits itself to providing assistance to people in need which is done without regard to creed, ethnicity or ideology of those seeking help. In its operations CARITAS AUSTRIA is guided by respect for the dignity and self-determination of the people it serves. There are more than 1,000 places throughout Austria where CARITAS AUSTRIA helps people in need. In the areas of caregiving, supporting people with disabilities, hospices, in the social counseling centers, on assignment for families in need or for older people who cannot afford heating. We support healing-centered peacebuilding by addressing trauma and its effect on people and their environment. Our approach is based on social healing and trauma-informed solutions for countering violence. We assist communities in chronic violence and specialize in the most fragile areas. Our strength lies in the people we serve who ultimately are charged with the difficult task of healing and transformation We are innovating the integration of peacebuilding and governance programming with mental health from an African world-view, in new and creative ways. Mission: Forging ways for women & girls in extreme poverty to learn, connect and lead. We operate only in places of extreme poverty: villages of South Sudan, Haiti, Malawi, and refugee camps in Kenya and Uganda. Our programs create opportunities for marginalized and displaced women and girls in three critical areas: Education: We increase girls' access to education (K-University) through scholarships, extracurricular enhancements, and leadership skills workshops. Empowerment: We uplift refugee women by funding programs that teach perma-gardening techniques and provide micro-enterprise loans and business training. Advocacy: We train all of our Scholars in leadership and advocacy. As MBB alumnae they use their voices to promote human rights for all, especially marginalized women and girls.
