The mission of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community.To fulfill our mission we: Source and acquire food and other products and distribute to people in need through charitable agencies or directly through programs; Energize the community to get involved and support hunger relief; Conduct hunger education and awareness campaigns and advocate for public policies that alleviate hunger.Our vision is that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County. The Food Bank, founded in 1973, provides food and other products to people seeking food assistance throughout Los Angeles County. We also energize the community to get involved and support hunger relief through volunteerism, food and fund drives, financial and in-kind support. The Food Bank also conducts hunger education and awareness campaigns and advocates for public policies that alleviate hunger. With the help of 31,000 volunteers and financial supporters, the Food Bank distributed over 60 million pounds of food in 2011 including 14 million pounds of fresh produce. We serve over 1 million individuals throughout Los Angeles County each year. The Food Bank also has nutrition education classes for local schools. Additionally, we make every effort to educate the public about the problem of hunger.

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: a 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. The organization also runs TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operates innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

Feeding America also supports programs that prevent food waste and improve food security among the people we serve; brings attention to the social and systemic barriers that contribute to food insecurity in our nation; and advocates for legislation that protects people from going hungry.

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to assist the U. S. Marine Corps in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. Through the gift of a new toy, the organization seeks to help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children. Uniting all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to improving communities in the future.

THE EAGLES AUTISM CHALLENGE IS DEDICATED TO RAISING FUNDS FOR INNOVATIVE RESEARCH AND PROGRAMS TO HELP UNLOCK THE MYSTERY OF AUTISM. OUR EVENT AIMS TO INSPIRE AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY, SO TOGETHER, WE CAN PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED SUPPORT TO MAKE A LASTING IMPACT IN THE FIELD OF AUTISM. ON THE FIELD WE'RE UNITED BY ONE OBJECTIVE; VICTORY. OFF THE FIELD, WE ARE DRAWN TOGETHER BY AN EVEN LARGER GOAL: TAKING ACTION FOR AUTISM. THROUGH RESEARCH, ADVOCACY, EMPATHY AND UNITY OUR BIGGEST STRENGTH IS BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER. OMF’s mission is to accelerate and enhance scientific research, advocacy, and awareness of ocular melanoma and to provide education and support to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals. For patients and their loved ones, OMF aspires to be the top destination for up-to-date OM-related educational information, a meeting place, and advocacy resource. For doctors and researchers, OMF strives to be the connective tissue, facilitating interdisciplinary cancer research. The goal of OMF is to have there exist accessible and effective treatments for ocular melanoma and, one day, a cure

BHTCC is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in the State of Washington. All donations are Tax deductible. The organization is managed by Board of Directors duly elected by the members of the General Body of BHTCC, per a robust Constitution and By-Laws duly approved by the General Body. Our board has numerous active committees including a Ritual Committee, Cultural Committee, Kitchen Committee, Communication Committee, Fund Raising as well as an Audit Committee.
