Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to achieving global gender equality. We have hundreds of local chapters across the U.S. where members learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income countries, and build community to forge meaningful connections that increase our strength and collective impact.

We care for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency… as an expression of the ongoing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to children and their families coping with cancer, sickle cell anemia, and other serious illnesses. Through summer sessions and family weekends at the Camp in Ashford, Connecticut and year-round outreach to hospitals and clinics across the Northeast, the Camp serves more than 20,000 children and family members annually. All services are provided free of charge.

The mission of the Austin Area Urban League is to provide tools to African Americans and under-served populations to build a foundation for social and economic equity and equality.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), is a non-profit organization created in July 2005 to take over the operations of the city shelter and to work directly with Baltimore City Animal Control. We take in homeless, neglected, and unwanted animals in Baltimore City. BARCS' mission is to accept and care for all animals in need and promote responsible pet ownership for a more humane community in Baltimore City.

Our mission is two-fold:  To provide children affected by a parent's cancer with a supportive, lifelong camp community that recognizes and understands their unique needs.  To empower college students to make a difference and build invaluable leadership skills by developing and managing every aspect of their Camp Kesem chapter.

The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) is the oldest and largest national nonprofit voluntary health organization focused on improving the quality of life for people with lupus. Our unique dual mission serves the ongoing needs of people affected by lupus today while leading efforts to find a cure – from care to cure!  Through the national office in Washington, DC and a nationwide network of chapters, offices, support groups and community representatives, the LFA conducts programs of research, education, and advocacy.  The LFA is leading efforts to bring national attention and resources to bear upon lupus in order to shine a light on this medically underserved disease, accelerate the pace of medical research on lupus, build support for the needs of those affected by lupus, and elevate lupus to a place of prominence on the nation’s health care agenda.

Mercy For Animals is dedicated to preventing cruelty to farmed animals and promoting compassionate food choices and policies.  

Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy. Our programming – delivered to 156,000 girls in partnership with schools and at our centers – across 83 affiliates in over 330 cities and 1,400 sites focuses on the development of the whole girl. A combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a safe pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to lead healthy and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty, and become role models in their communities.

Our Mission As the first multidisciplinary cultural space in Downtown Staten Island, the Canvas Institute is dedicated to transforming lives through art, education, and civic engagement. We offer dynamic programming both in and out of schools, including Social Emotional Wellbeing initiatives, teen and adult mental health support, anti-violence and conflict resolution training, and parental support programs. Our work not only uplifts students and families but also addresses systemic challenges faced by underserved communities. By uniting youth groups, artists, scholars, civic leaders, and community members, we create a ripple effect of positive change and inspire new possibilities. With a proven track record in policy expertise, coalition building, and strategic collaboration, the Canvas Institute stands as a trusted partner for those committed to driving impactful community development.
