Children's Community School provides a first-rate education to Waterbury's disadvantaged inner-city children, grades pre-K through 5, so that they may acquire the personal, academic, and physical tools to determine their own future.

Outfest protects our past, showcases our present and nurtures our future by fostering artistic expression of gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ culture and its transformative social impact on the world. Their mission aims to create visibility to diverse LGBTQIA+ stories and empowers storytellers, building empathy to drive meaningful social change. Founded by UCLA students in 1982, Outfest is the leading organization that promotes equality by creating, sharing and protecting LGBT stories on the screen. Outfest builds community by connecting diverse populations to discover, discuss and celebrate stories of LGBT lives. Over the past three decades, Outfest has showcased thousands of films from around the world to audiences of nearly a million, educated and mentored hundreds of emerging filmmakers and protected more than 20,000 LGBT films and videos.

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives. RSF’s first initiative is to build broadcast media centers, named Seacrest Studios, within pediatric hospitals for patients to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media. RSF’s aim is to contribute positively to the healing process for children and their families during their stay by developing these centers to bring an uplifting spirit to the hospital community.  We believe access to multimedia experiences will bring patients exciting and stimulating adventures to encourage optimistic thoughts during treatment.  It is also important to us to reach out to the community and involve students from local journalism schools by providing them with the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in broadcasting, programming and operating a multimedia center.

The mission of Operation Kindness is to care for homeless cats and dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into responsible homes and to advocate humane values and behavior.

Every child deserves hope. Since 2004, Hope Endowment has provided housing, food, clothing, medical and social services to the children we serve in India. Our mission continues to this day as we provide for the children under our care. Founded in 1983 as a soup kitchen, Miriam's Kitchen has evolved over the years to provide more than meals. Today, Miriam's Kitchen is a critical player in the fight to end chronic homelessness in DC. On the direct services level, we help our guests improve their health, increase their income and obtain housing through a range of programs and partnerships. Founded in 2000, Glamourgals organizes and inspires teen volunteers to provide ongoing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to women in senior homes. Through this experience: Elderly residents in care feel a renewed sense of community and self-worth. Teen volunteers gain essential leadership skills demonstrating empathy and compassion through our intergenerational programming.

HealthRIGHT 360 gives hope, builds health, and changes lives for people in need. We do this by providing compassionate, integrated care that includes primary medical, mental health, substance use disorder treatment and re-entry services.

To find a cure for pancreatic cancer in honor of Ron Hirshberg and the thousands of people who are diagnosed with this disease each year. To create a premier Pancreatic Cancer Center where all needs of pancreatic cancer patients can be met in one location with the most advanced treatment options. To be recognized as a patient support reference source for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. To fund projects and programs designed to improve patient care, treatment and, ultimately, pancreatic cancer survival rates. To integrate and unite generations, young and old, through physical fitness participation, while creating public awareness and raising money to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.

Wish Upon a Teen is dedicated to providing resources, time and opportunities to teenagers with severe life limiting medical conditions. Through creative, social, and educational opportunities, these teens will rediscover and rebuild their self-esteem as they continue their journey to adulthood. Wish Upon a Teen is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, established in May of 2011, to help teenagers who have developmental or medical conditions. Through creative and interactive social and educational events, these teens will rediscover and rebuild their self-esteem as they continue their journey to adulthood. Wish Upon a Teen's founder, Michelle Soto, has extensive experience caring for children and teenagers,through this experience she has learned that teens are frequently left behind. In effect, the combination of normal teenage stressors plus the impact of learning disabilities and, or life limiting illnesses can make the normal transition to adulthood difficult. Wish Upon a Teen continuously provides ongoing support to an age-group not frequently targeted by those in the charitable community. Wish Upon a Teen provides support to teenagers throughout the country.
