Shoes That Fit tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving children in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play and thrive. A new pair of shoes can be a life-changing event for a child. School attendance, self-esteem and behavior improve. Physical activity increases. Smiles return. All from an often over-looked item—a good pair of shoes. Our vision is that, one day, every child in America who needs new shoes gets new shoes, allowing all children the opportunity to reach their highest potential.

Committed to action, the Get Together Foundation delivers aid, care, comfort and innovative housing solutions to our community’s most vulnerable citizens.GTF organizes volunteers for citizen action to impact the homeless crisis in Los Angeles by securing contributions and in-kind donations from like-minded individuals committed to uplifting vulnerable humans. The Get Together Foundation provides full-service support: food, clothing, and yes, even music to people who are not in proximity to traditional mission services.

Get Lit – Words Ignite fuses classic and spoken word poetry to increase teen literacy on the page and in visual media. We cultivate enthusiastic learners emboldened to inspire social consciousness in diverse communities. Get Lit’s poetry and film curriculum engages young people by providing a creative outlet, community, and real-life work experience, transforming students into artists, activists, scholars, and stars.

Our mission creates play, dignity and social equity for children with disabilities through inclusive playgrounds and education programs that unite children of all abilities. Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration has grown into a powerful network of 80 inclusive, sensory and literacy-rich playgrounds throughout the world. Our Together, We Are Able education program is in over 67 countries and transforms the playgrounds into classrooms where children with and without disabilities learn to see beyond their differences.

OFFERING OUR SERVICES AT NO CHARGE, FOR AS LONG AS PEOPLE NEED THEM, OUR SERVICES ENCOURAGE THE SAFE EXPRESSION OF GRIEF AND LOSS AND FOSTER EACH INDIVIDUAL'S RESILIENCE AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING. WE NOW OPERATE TWO LOCATIONS IN PORTLAND AND SANFORD.
