The Miss America Foundation strives to change lives and influence young women across the country and around the world. We proudly offer academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, STEM, and in the performing arts. The Miss America Foundation, Inc. is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation that provides academic scholarships to young women. MAF is duly recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. As such, any donation to the Foundation is tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. building scholarships to prepare great women for the world and the world for great women.

U4Uganda believes in the power of education to promote sustainable change for a better life. With your help, we can provide students with the basic necessities for a meaningful education, allowing the children of Alenga, Uganda to live up to their full potential. The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is committed to making our community a place in which all animals are valued. This means keeping them safe from abuse, neglect and other harmful situations. We investigate all signs of cruelty, neglect, and abuse to all types of animals. This includes responding to calls regarding sick or injured animals.

To provide a neighborhood learning center for school-age children served by Title I (federally subsidized) public schools, especially in areas experiencing underperformance in academic, behavior and social skills. We provide a positive volunteer team of parents and neighbors to assist in scheduled activities and sponsored events to improve skills, lessen the dependence on government programs, thwart neighborhood tensions, prevent community deterioration, and deter juvenile delinquency

Active Minds is the largest nonprofit in the United States mobilizing youth and young adults to transform mental health norms across society. For more than 20 years, we have equipped the next generation of peer mental health advocates through a variety of programs, including the Active Minds Chapter Network, A.S.K., and Send Silence Packing. Our advocacy, initiatives, and campaigns foster lasting change in how youth view and discuss mental health, encouraging them to use their voices to influence broader conversations and inform mental health supports within their communities. OMID’s mission is to support and provide tools to marginalized young women in their journey toward self-empowerment—social, economic and emotional. And to support and grow a community of clinicians, educators, who collaborate to disseminate, and implement optimal trauma treatments for these young women.

Labrador Rescuers (LR) is a 100% volunteer-based nonprofit, established in 2004 to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray, abandoned and unwanted Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes, including shelter dogs and dogs relinquished by their owners because of age, health, financial or other reasons. LR is known for rescuing senior dogs and dogs who have medical, surgical and other special needs that shelters, other rescues or owners are unable or unwilling to address. LR provides for those needs with the goal of making it possible for every dog to be adopted into a loving forever home. LR has saved over 5,700 dogs since its formation.

Orchestrating Dreams provides high-quality innovative and adaptive education programs that strengthen communities and help individuals develop a lifelong love for music and learning. We guide individuals to realize their full potential by providing music and family education, offering mentorships for teens and adults, and organizing cultural events in the community. Music education has often been a privilege accessible only to the few who could afford private music instruction, Orchestrating Dreams aims to bring equity and access to the communities of Washington Heights, Inwood, and the Bronx. All children deserve access to high quality music education regardless of their zip code, income, age, race, gender, or sexual orientation. In the hands of Orchestrating Dreams, music is a tool that fine tunes thoughts and feelings through healthy practice, gives voice to the voiceless, inspires action, and leads our communities to a more just and peaceful society.

NPH USA, formerly Friends of the Orphans, transforms the lives of abandoned and disadvantaged children with homes, healthcare and educational programs, making a positive impact in Latin America and the Caribbean. NPH USA support Nuestros Peque os Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters"). Together, we create families for life and teach children the values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and helping others. Our donors help children overcome poverty and become leaders in their own communities. Since its founding in 1954, NPH has assisted more than 20,000 children and is currently raising more than 3,400 boys and girls in nine countries. An additional 2,300 students who live outside the homes receive scholarships, meals and health care. Over 99,000 services were provided through community outreach programs in 2015.

The BlinkNow Foundation’s mission is to provide an education and a loving, caring home for orphaned, impoverished and at-risk children. We also provide community outreach to reduce poverty, empower women, improve health, and encourage sustainability and social justice. The Foundation fulfills its mission by providing financial support and management oversight to the Children’s Home and Kopila Valley School in Surkhet, Nepal.
