The Miss America Foundation

The Miss America Foundation strives to change lives and influence young women across the country and around the world. We proudly offer academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, STEM, and in the performing arts. The Miss America Foundation, Inc. is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation that provides academic scholarships to young women. MAF is duly recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. As such, any donation to the Foundation is tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. building scholarships to prepare great women for the world and the world for great women.

Active Minds is the largest nonprofit in the United States mobilizing youth and young adults to transform mental health norms across society. For more than 20 years, we have equipped the next generation of peer mental health advocates through a variety of programs, including the Active Minds Chapter Network, A.S.K., and Send Silence Packing. Labrador Rescuers (LR) is a 100% volunteer-based nonprofit, established in 2004 to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray, abandoned and unwanted Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes, including shelter dogs and dogs relinquished by their owners because of age, health, financial or other reasons. LR is known for rescuing senior dogs and dogs who have medical, surgical and other special needs that shelters, other rescues or owners are unable or unwilling to address. LR provides for those needs with the goal of making it possible for every dog to be adopted into a loving forever home. LR has saved over 5,700 dogs since its formation.

Music education has often been a privilege accessible only to the few who could afford private music instruction, Orchestrating Dreams aims to bring equity and access to the communities of Washington Heights, Inwood, and the Bronx. All children deserve access to high quality music education regardless of their zip code, income, age, race, gender, or sexual orientation. In the hands of Orchestrating Dreams, music is a tool that fine tunes thoughts and feelings through healthy practice, gives voice to the voiceless, inspires action, and leads our communities to a more just and peaceful society.

NPH USA (formerly Friends of the Orphans)

NPH USA, formerly Friends of the Orphans, transforms the lives of abandoned and disadvantaged children with homes, healthcare and educational programs, making a positive impact in Latin America and the Caribbean. NPH USA support Nuestros Peque os Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters"). Together, we create families for life and teach children the values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and helping others. Our donors help children overcome poverty and become leaders in their own communities. Since its founding in 1954, NPH has assisted more than 20,000 children and is currently raising more than 3,400 boys and girls in nine countries. An additional 2,300 students who live outside the homes receive scholarships, meals and health care. Over 99,000 services were provided through community outreach programs in 2015.
