The Ed Asner Family Center is an all encompassing resource for individuals with special needs and their families who are seeking wholeness in all attitudes of life. The Center acts as an oasis of balance and thought, of interaction and education. Most importantly, we give individuals of all levels of ability a chance at dignity, confidence, and self-respect. At The Ed Asner Family Center, we do not only cater to the needs of the extraordinary individual. We aim to enroll the complete family and help them meet the challenges they face with grace.

FoSA (Friends of Short Ave), the booster club for Short Avenue Elementary in Del Rey, California, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the fundraising arm of the school. We are dedicated to providing enrichment opportunities that strengthen and support our neighborhood public school. Altadena Girls is focused on restoring normalcy and a sense of self to teen girls who lost their homes in the Eaton Canyon Fire. Created by Avery Colvert, a 14-year-old living in Altadena, CA. What began as a grassroots effort to supply clothing and necessities for her classmates has grown into a national movement dedicated to giving, community, connection, resilience, and opportunity. Altadena Girls' mission is to create a safe, welcoming space where girls can heal, thrive, and build brighter futures together.

ABOUT THE BORIS LAWRENCE HENSON FOUNDATION (BLHF) As the pioneering Black mental health advocacy group in the US, the BLHF provides access to localized and black-culturally competent therapy resources sourced through a network of clinicians, service providers, counselors, and thought leaders. The foundation is named in honor of Boris Lawrence Henson, father of Academy Award and Emmy-nominated actress and founder Taraji P. Henson, who suffered mental health challenges without resources or support. Founded in 2018, within a short time, BLHF has built its reputation on the promise of providing trusted referrals and demonstrating a deep understanding of the population health of communities of color. Through timely and relevant programming and awareness campaigns, it is the hope that mental health will become a known quantity within Black communities, helping the Foundation to achieve a critical mass of Black self-care advocates and allies nationwide. Through a myriad of corporate partnerships, BLHF encourages mental wellness; raises awareness of the stigma and the use of stigmatizing language when referring to mental illness; provides mental health resources and support, offers scholarships to Black students who seek a career in the mental health field; extends mental health services to young people in underserved schools and communities, combats recidivism and supports re-entry for returning citizens. The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation is charting a new course that encourages Black individuals to own their history, heritage, and collective wounds in empowering, empathic, and transformative ways.

For over 30 years, Best Friends Animal Society has been running the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals and building effective programs that reduce the number of animals entering shelters. The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. The organization does this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the United States.

The Association for the Recovery of Children [ARC] is a non-profit, under-the-radar organization comprised of former intelligence officers and special operators who rescue missing, abducted, and exploited American children in domestic and foreign locations.

It is the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children to: -Provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and certain other special health care needs within a compassionate, family centered and collaborative care environment -Provide for the education of physicians and other health care professionals -Conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families. The organization is managed by Board of Directors duly elected by the members of the General Body of BHTCC, per a robust Constitution and By-Laws duly approved by the General Body. Our board has numerous active committees including a Ritual Committee, Cultural Committee, Kitchen Committee, Communication Committee, Fund Raising as well as an Audit Committee.
